DIPLOMATIC SECURITY SERVICE HEADQUARTERS
WASHINGTON, D.C.

Hobbs is sitting at his desk as he fills out a report for his latest job. He can't help but grab the file that has been sitting on his desk for the past year. He opens it to see a picture of Alexandra Parker, the woman who has been plaguing his mind since the moment he laid eyes on her. Hobbs closes the file as he hears footsteps approaching.
"You need to look at that," Monica tells him as she places a file on his desk before Hobbs opens the file. "Berlin, 3:00 a.m. this morning. A team of drivers hijacked a military convoy."
"Toretto?" Hobbs asks hopeful at the chance to see Alex again.
"Nope," Monica answers him.
"I ain't interested," Hobbs tells her as his mood drops since he won't be seeing Alex.
"Yes, you are. Keep looking," Monica orders him before he opens the file back up. He flips through it until he comes across a picture of one Leticia Ortiz. "Do you believe in ghosts?"

MOSCOW

A WEEK LATER

Hobbs pulls up to where several cop cars are gathered.
"Special Agent Hobbs?" A woman says as she walks over to him.
"Riley Hicks," Hobbs says as he takes some files from her. "I read your file. Top of your class at FLETC. Cairo, Tunis. Youngest RSO ever in Afghanistan. Hell, if you're half as good as you are on paper, we're going to get along just fine. A Russian military caravan attacked, satellite component stolen. Cars just came out of nowhere. Six hospitalized, a dozen vehicles destroyed. All that in under 90 seconds, in and out."
"This is world-class," Riley says.
"Job this good, there's only one crew in the world who could get this done," Hobbs says, knowing that it wasn't the Toretto team. They see a crane pulling a cop car out of the side of a building at least two stories high.
"How in the hell did that get up there?" Riley asks as she looks at the car shocked before she checks her phone. "They caught one."
"Where?" Hobbs asks her.

INTERPOL HEADQUARTERS

"I got you five minutes with this guy," Riley tells Hobbs as they walk inside.
"I only need two," Hobbs says before he walks into the interrogation room. "I want your boss. Where's Shaw?"
"I ain't telling you shit," Oakes says as he stands chest to chest with Hobbs.
"I was hoping you would say that," Hobbs tells Oakes. Hobbs grabs Oakes before slinging him into the wall. Oakes goes to hit Hobbs but is blocked.
"Is that legal?" The officer with Riley asks.
"No," Riley answers him with a smirk. Hobbs slams Oakes down on the table, breaking it. "But are you going to go in there and tell him?"
Hobbs picks Oakes up, slamming him against the ceiling before dropping him.
"I've got rights, you asshole!" Oakes yells at Hobbs.
"Not today," Hobbs tells him before picking him up and throwing him against the glass causing it to crack. Hobbs leaves the room a minute later before Riley meets him in the hallway.
"Well, is he talking?" Riley asks Hobbs.
"Not anymore," Hobbs answers her.
"That room is bugged Hobbs," Riley tells him. "So, any information you just beat out of him, Interpol has now."
"Great. Now they can take the morning off. Shaw's in London," Hobbs explains.
"Let's go pick him up," Riley says causing Hobbs to roll his eyes.
"Woman, you just don't pick up Owen Shaw like he's groceries," Hobbs says as he shakes his head. "If you want to catch wolves, you need wolves."

CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN

"This is what 100 million buys?" Hobbs asks as he stands a few feet behind Dom. "It wasn't hard to find you, Toretto."
"I wasn't hiding," Dom says as he turns to look at Hobbs.
"How's the life of the retired international criminal?" Hobbs asks he walks over to Dom.
"I like it here. It's quiet," Dom answers him with a smile. "Nice weather, and no extradition. So what are you doing here, cop?"
"Last Tuesday, a team of highly coordinated drivers took down an entire military convoy in Russia," Hobbs explains to him.
"I don't do cold weather," Dom tells him.
"I know it wasn't you," Hobbs replies. "But you're going to help me catch the team responsible." Elena walks outside before cocking her gun. "And you ain't gonna need that."
"You can't touch him, Hobbs. You've got no powers..." Elena starts.
"I'm not here to extradite anyone," Hobbs tells her. "See, he's going to come voluntarily. As a matter of fact, he's going to beg me." Dom looks at Hobbs confused. "This was taken a week ago." Hobbs hands Dom a file. "I'll see you out front." Dom opens the file as Elena watches Hobbs walk away.

Dom walks outside to find Hobbs waiting.
"I'm going to need everything, all the info you got," Dom says as he leans against his car.
"You'll get it when the team gets it," Hobbs tells him as he thinks about seeing Alex again.
"No team," Dom says with a shake of his head. "This is going to have to be me alone."
"It's not that simple," Hobbs says with a sigh. "The crew we're after, they hit like thunder and disappear like smoke. You go in alone, you won't ever touch them. I've been chasing this guy across four continents and 12 countries, and believe me, the last damn place I want to be right now is on your front doorstep, selling Girl Scout cookies. I need your help, Dom. I need your team."
