Luke and Alexandra step out of the car, the gravel crunching under their feet as they take in the sight of the house. It stands tall and welcoming, with a wide porch and a sprawling yard framed by trees that seem to go on forever. The property is a sanctuary, far removed from the chaos of the city and only those who know of it can find it.
"What do you think?" Luke asks, his arm draped protectively around Alexandra's shoulders.
"I think it's perfect," Alexandra whispers, her eyes shining. The real estate agent hands over the keys, and Luke places them in Alexandra's palm.
"This is it. Our home," Luke says as he places a kiss to the side of Alexandra's head.
"Our family's home," Alexandra corrects him as she looks up at him, smiling.
Months later, Luke paces the hospital room, the nerves that rarely faze him now threatening to undo him. Alexandra grips his hand, her knuckles white as she breathes through the pain.
"You're doing great, baby," Luke says, his deep voice soothing, though his own heart is racing.
"I swear, if you say that one more time," Alexandra mutters, her voice strained but laced with humor.
The doctor announces the final push, and moments later, the sound of a baby's cry fills the room. Alexandra's head falls back against the pillow, tears streaming down her face as the doctor places a tiny, wriggling bundle in her arms.
"She's beautiful," Luke whispers, his voice thick with emotion as he leans down to kiss Alexandra's forehead.
The baby's eyes flutter open, and Alexandra looks at Luke.
"Thalia," Alexandra says softly.
"Thalia," Luke repeats, his grin widening as he presses a gentle kiss to his daughter's forehead.
Years pass, and the house becomes a hub of laughter and love. Samantha and Thorin chase Thalia through the yard, the three of them tumbling into the grass in fits of giggles. Alexandra watches from the porch, her hand resting on Luke's as they sit together on the swing.
"Hard to believe we've come this far," Alexandra says, her voice filled with wonder.
"Now we just have to make it completely official," Luke replies, squeezing her hand with a teasing smile since they had agreed to wait until Thalia was older to have their wedding.
The day of their wedding dawns bright and warm. The backyard is transformed into a picturesque venue, with rows of white chairs and flowers adorning every surface. The Toretto team mingles with Luke's family, laughter and conversation blending into a joyful hum.
Samantha fusses with Alexandra's dress, her role as maid of honor taken very seriously.
"You look amazing," Samantha says, her voice full of pride.
"Thank you, sweetheart," Alexandra replies, hugging her tightly before turning to Thorin. "And you look very dashing, best man."
"He may be my dad now but I've got your back, Mom. Always," Thorin says with a grin, straightening his little bow tie.
Tej enters the room, his expression soft as he takes in Alexandra in her wedding dress.
"You ready for this?" Tej asks, offering his arm.
"More than ready," Alexandra agrees as she nods, her smile radiant.
As they step out into the yard, the gathered guests rise to their feet. Luke waits at the altar, Thalia standing beside him, clutching her basket of flowers. Thalia's curls bounce as she scatters petals along the aisle, her giggles melting hearts. When Alexandra reaches the altar, Tej places her hand in Luke's and steps back with a nod.
"You look incredible," Luke whispers, his voice filled with awe.
"You clean up pretty nice yourself," Alexandra teases, her eyes sparkling.
The ceremony is simple and heartfelt, the vows spoken through tears and smiles. When the officiant pronounces them husband and wife, Luke pulls Alexandra into a kiss that earns cheers and whistles from the crowd.
The reception is a celebration of family and unity. The Toretto team swaps stories with Luke's mother and brothers, while Samantha and Thorin take turns dancing with Thalia.
"To family. Because no matter where we are or where life takes us, family is what keeps us strong," Dom raises his beer, making a toast, his voice steady and filled with pride.
Luke glances at Alexandra, her hand entwined with his, and then at their children playing nearby. Luke knows Dom is right. This is what they fought for, what they will always fight to protect if the need arises.
As the sun sets and the stars begin to appear, the family gathers around the fire pit, the warmth of the flames matching the warmth in their hearts. This is the life they've built together. A life filled with love, laughter, and an unshakable bond. The life they'll continue to cherish, one day at a time.
Two years later, the sun is setting over their dream home, casting golden hues across the sprawling backyard where laughter fills the air. Alexandra watches as Thorin, now a seventeen, guide Samantha, now fourteen, and little Thalia, now six, through an obstacle course Luke had built for their family when they first moved in. The sight of them, so full of life and joy despite the age differences, makes her heart swell. Luke appears at her side, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"You know," Luke says, his voice warm. "I did not think life could get much better after we stopped Cipher. But this... this proves me wrong every day." Alexandra smiles, leaning into him.
"It's not perfect," Alexandra responds, gesturing towards the scuffs on Thorin's shoes or the slightly crooked swing set in the corner of the yard. "But it's ours."
Their wedding photos hang prominently in the living room, a reminder of the family they have built, not just through blood but through bonds forged in fire and danger. The Toretto team will always be family too, visiting often and ensuring their lives are never dull.
Thorin calls out, "Mom! Dad! Watch this!"
Thorin flips off of the swing, landing in a superhero pose with a practiced ease. Alexandra laughs as Luke lets out an exaggerated cheer, pretending to be amazed despite being worried about another broken bone.
For a moment, Alexandra thinks of all they have been through, the battles fought, the scars healed, the risks taken for love and family. But it was all worth it. Every second of chaos had led to this peace.
As the stars began to dot the sky, Luke squeezes Alexandra's hand.
"Promise me one thing," Luke says.
"Anything," Alexandra replies, her expression serious.
"Let's keep making this our mission," Luke suggests, motioning to their family. "No matter what comes next." Luke presses a kiss to her forehead as she grins.
"You've got my word, Agent Hobbs," Alexandra agrees with a slightly teasing tone.
Together, they step forward, joining their children under the stars, their laughter blending into the cool night air. The world might have its challenges, but for now, they have everything they need right here.
The End.
