Temor's POV
Our wedding is fast approaching. My boys were talking about giving me a bachelor party, but I wasn't feeling the idea. Damien refused to take NO for an answer and called Camila to plan a party for both Love and me. Since Love thought it was a good idea, I am sitting here waiting for her to finish getting dressed for said party.
When Love walked out of the bedroom, I wanted to tell her to go and change her damn outfit. I don't know why lately I've been so pressed about how my baby dresses.
My eyes move up and down her frame, taking in every detail of the floor-length white dress. I notice the dress is missing the middle section. The top of the dress and the bottom are being held together by what looks like diamond strings. I haven't processed the vision in front of me when I see a split on the side of the dress that goes from the floor to her hip.
Just when I thought I couldn't get any more uptight, Love turns around, revealing the dress's back, which is missing. It's just a few diamond strands hanging down her back.
Love looks stunning. If I think so, then other dudes will too. My baby is bringing it as usual. "Do you like it?" she asked.
I already know not to say too much because she has already told me she is not going for me telling her how to dress.
"I love it, but I wish you would wear something else, so I don't have to worry all night," I said.
She walks over and whispers in my ear, "But I want you to worry, worry about how long you will have to wait until you can take this dress off of me or if we will be able to find someplace to lift it up; while we are out.''
She kisses my neck, and my soldier is now at full attention. I move to kiss her deeply and tell her to behave.
Camila and Damien did a great job with the party. The venue was decorated in white and gold. There were pictures of Love and I hanging throughout the space. The food was excellent, a mix of Spanish and Caribbean cuisine. I saw many people from home came down for the party, and to top it off, the DJ was on point all night.
Damien and I were sitting down looking at everyone when he asks
" Are you sure you are ready for marriage?"
"I am man, you need to get yourself right and settle down," I said
"Man, listen, I ain't ready player, I'ma leave that to you," Damien said
"Then why can't you keep your eyes off Camilla?" I ask
"She is not messing with me, Mo," he said, watching her walk onto the dance floor with Love.
"Talk to her and explain to her what really happened. She might listen if you come correct." I said. Now I am watching my future wife as she dances with her best friend. They are having a good time.
" This next set goes out to the Bride-to-be. Love this is for you," the Dj says, and then I hear Go-Go music. Love, Camilla, and the girls are killing it on the floor. I notice some dudes move in closer to the dance floor and watch the girls dance.
One guy, in particular, is looking at Love like he is ready to make a move. Before I have to step in and check him, Camila is blocking his advances. My girl Mila always got my baby's back.
Comfortable with the situation, I fall back and head back to the bar to get another round of drinks. Leaning back on the bar, I take in the sights. Everyone is having fun, dancing, and drinking. The music changes and I see Love looking around for me. She approaches me as Toni Braxton's How Many Ways starts playing.
She makes it to me. Taking my hand, she leads me to the dance floor. Love places her arms around my neck as I rest my hands on her hips. Mi Amor starts moving, and now I am worried about how long it will be before I can take this dress off of her.
My mind goes back to the night we got back together. She made love to me, and it felt like we were dancing. Now we are dancing, but I swear it feels like we are making love the way she is moving her body and looking into my eyes singing to me...
"Let me tell you one, two, I love you, three, four, so much more
Five, six, I can't get enough, get enough of this
Seven let me show you my love and take you to heaven
Eight, nine, ten, let the love over and over and over
And over and over and over again."
" Get it, Lovey, give it to him, girl.." I hear Camila and the girls encouraging her behavior and whistling..these girls are worse than men. Now my boys are hollering as they watch Love Seduce me with her performance. I can't help myself. I kiss my girl like we are alone. Now people are clapping and whistling. We really showed off.
We didn't make it back to the room before I had Love's dress lifted up. After the song was over, she asked me to walk with her to the car to change her shoes. Instead of going to the car, she pulled me into the women's bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror with me behind her, she slowly lifted her dress while telling me she had a fantasy she wanted to make come true. Shit, this girl is going to be the death of me, but Imma die happy.
That night was epic. A night I would never forget.
The following day we all had to fly back home. We thanked Camilla and told her we would see her in a few weeks for the wedding.
