Love's POV
The ride into the city was fun, Mila and I listened to all my favorite Go-Go songs, and now I'm in the mood to dance. We park the car and head towards the club. It's packed.
I hear someone shouting Mila's and my Name. I turn around and see our girl's Shanel and her bestie Angela walking over to us. "Hey, Y'all," Shanel said. "Hey," Mila and I responded.
We stand in the line chatting it up when I feel someone tap me on my shoulder. I look over and see Eric with his crew. He grabs my hand and says, "follow me." I hold Mila's hand, and Shanel and Angela follow us as we walk into the Club with Eric and his crew.
Once we are inside, Eric tells me we are welcome to hang out with them tonight in his VIP section, I look at Camila, and she looks at me like, Duh. Yea,.
So I tell Eric to lead the way. The VIP section sits above the dance floor. You can see the entire club. We sit down, and Eric asks us what we would like to drink. I said whatever they have is fine. He orders three bottles of Moet. Camila looked at me with her eyebrow raised. I know that look. I just smirked cause I knew what she was thinking. He must have money.
Eric hands me my second glass of Moet, and I take a sip, just vibing to the music. I hear the DJ playing a hot GoGo intro. Mila, Shanel, Angela, and I start making our way to the dance floor.
As we get on the floor, we all start moving, the Moet has me feeling lighter than I have in weeks, and the music is moving through my body like waves in the ocean. I close my eyes and enter my own reality. My hips move to the beat of the music, dropping my ass to the floor and bouncing it back up to the rhythm of the drums. I just let the music move my body, releasing all the tension, anxiety, and negative energy I had been feeling the last couple of months.
Eventually, the music changes and slows down, and I can feel someone behind me holding my waist and swaying me to the beat of the slow song.
