Cassie's POV

I shuffled around in my chambers not knowing what to wear on this day. It was Quidditch today, and frankly it was not something I was excited for. Teachers had to take turns on the Quidditch field per Godfather, but I not only knew nothing about this sport but I had never seen it played. I know how that must sound as well, I went to school here, yes, but I never set foot near the field. However, Madam Hooch took my place, thank Merlin, but now I was still being dragged to the game, by not only Severus but Godfather was to be doing business today, which meant he expected me to take his place.

I looked out the window at the sky as it only seemed to darken by the second, not to mention that if just about anyone set foot outside it seemed like the wind would blow them away. I grabbed an extra jacket, and my wand, making sure to cast a waterproof spell over myself before I even thought of setting foot out of castle. Yet here I was, walking down my stairs to endure however long this game was going to take.

"You look like you are preparing for a snowstorm," Severus said, lightly chuckling as met me down at the end of my stairs.

I said nothing but nudge him as he waited for me to join him before leading me to the Quiddith field. It only seemed that this weather was getting worse, and even with the layers of clothes I was wearing, I could still feel every inch of it.

I hesitantly took a step out in the rain expecting to feel the rain hit my cheeks, but I felt nothing, I only saw as Severus held something over my head as he pulled me in the direction of were we were going to be sitting. Students were all around, hollering for there house, and it was evident who was playing. All I could see were Yellow and Red shirts, badger and lion mascots, and a few students that looked to wearing no shirts but loads of paint on there bodies.

I took my seat still scanning the field at the diaster that was already taking place. How have they not cancelled this game? I could barely see as it is, and that was with him still holding something over my head, I could not imagine what it was going to feel like riding a broom, and expecting to score a goal.

"Tell me, in what circumstances would they ever cancel Quidditch?" I asked.

"None that I am aware of," he said, staring down at the field as I saw the players ride out.

My mind was elsewhere as the game begun. It became quite clear why Godfather had me here, and that was because of the seeker that was on Gryffindor. I could feel my stomach begin to sink more as I noticed how the winds were picking up, and now that I was said to be protecting a child who desipises me, it was hard to keep it together. I looked back to Severus as he was trying to explain the game to me, and as much as I apprciate the gesture, I was not worried at all about what was what.

Something did not feel right.

I looked above me watching closely as the morning practically looked as if it was nighttime. I could have sworn that I saw something eery in the clouds. That couldnt be right though. Dementors where swore to be at the castle not a field.

I looked back to the game trying to find Harry with every anxiety riddled bone in my body. My eyes soon found the only boy with glasses on the field as he sat on his board waiting for the stitch? No snitch, thats right. I kept my eyes on him as I held on to Severus as I was hoping the game would end soon, but that wouldnt happen unless Harry or the Hufflepuff Seeker caught it, and from what I hear, Harry is very good.

My eyes suddenly caught a sight in the sky, I snapped my head back to the sky but it was only the clouds passing by. I was reaching to find something wrong, but truly, I felt as if something was.

I brought my eyes back to Harry, but in that few seconds he was gone. He was no longer lingering in the sky, he was off and no matter how frantically I search I could not find him. I grabbed Severus by the arm, but he didnt seem to notice my despair.
