A/N: Sorrynotsorry!
---------------

I stared blankly at the ceiling.

I've been laying here for... six hours?

This happens most nights.

Scott goes out and has fun, while I stay in the apartment and rot away.

At least that's how its been working for five months.

He used to spend every second of everyday with me. Not anymore.

Alex came along. That ruined f*cking everything.

This whole thing could have been avoided if I hadn't met Scott twelve years ago.
Flashback
"Hi!" I looked to my left to see a blond kid about my age. I smiled.
"Hey." My reply was less enthusiastic than his. I was never a energetic kid. I spent my days inside.
"Are you trying out? I think you'll definatly get a part." I blushed.
"Uh, yea. I am. Are you?" He smiled widely and nodded. I giggled and he gave me a funny look.
"What? I'm just proud." I nodded my head.
"Right. So, what's your name?" I asked him.
"Scott Hoying. You?" I stalled a moment and then spoke.
"Mitchell Grassi. Call me Mitch." He held his hand out, and I took it gladly.
Two weeks later (still flashback)
"We're always gonna be best friends, right Mitch?" My hand was interlocked with my new best friends as we walked down the street.
"Ya. Always. Why?" He looked down.
"People usually stop talking to me after a while. People don't really like me." I smiled lightly and hugged him.
"I'll always be here. I promise."
"I promise too."
Present day

Always. Yea, by always you mean twelve years, three months, six days, nine hours, seven minutes, and sixteen seconds.

He was there, all that time.

Then he left me.

Lively, sassy, happy Mitch left.

He died.

Then came along blank Mitch.

He's here to stay.
