Unknown Number: Hi Mitchie. I've been watching you for a while now, and I thought I'd make my move. I hope you answer.

Me: Uh, hi? Do I know you?

Unknown Number: I'm quite certain you know me. I see you everyday.

Me: Ok then. Look, I don't know you. Last time I checked, I didn't get a new number.

Unknown Number: I just saw you five minutes ago. I see you now.

I looked up from my phone, seeing no one in the room with me. I inhaled and called the name of the first person who came to mind, "Scott?!"

I heard a door open and close and fast footsteps, "Yeah Mitch? What wrong?" I smiled at him from the couch, patting the space next to me.

"Did you set me up with someone? This person is texting me, and I don't know who it is." His face twisted in confusion as he read over the texts.

"No, I didn't. Maybe Alex did? Or Jake? They're always setting you up with people." I looked up in thought and shook my head.

"They would tell me. Did a fan find out my number? Am I being stalked?" Scott put his hand on my leg, in a friendly manner, and flashed me a small smile.

"You'll be fine."
