Crazy Over You

Chapter 29

Jennie's POV

When I got home, I could hear the laughters in the living room. I went in and was stunned.

"Noona!" Zion came quickly to me.

They stopped and I looked at Lisa and Nancy. I can't breathe. I can't take it anymore.

"H-hi." my brief greetings to Zion. He was sweating. I looked at the living room again. They are playing with Zion because I can see toys cars and guns.

I was like a friend of theirs who visited their house. Fuck! It hurts.

"Come play with us!" Zion led me into the living room. I can't take this anymore. It's hurting me.

"Uhm I should go change first." he looked at me in his confused face. Maybe he's wondering why I'm going to change here. After all, Zion knows that I'm just Lisa's friend.

I was about to go up the stairs when Lisa stopped me. I looked at her in tears. She was about to speak but I quickly climbed into our room. I felt weak when I sit on our bed and cry. I'm crying again. The door opened. I don't need to look up to see who it is because just by her smell I already know it.

"Hon ... they just visited." she said.

Oh I missed her calling me hon.

"I can't take it anymore Lisa. Why are you so good at hurting me?" My voice cracks.

"Nini I'm sorry ..."

"Don't talk to me for now Lisa. Go on. They may be looking for you downstairs."

Lisa didn't listen to me instead she sat beside me.

"Jennie, I'm sorry for not considering your feelings. Nancy is my ex and she's here hoping I'll come back. Zion is not my child. When we were together she hid that she was pregnant. But I also found out later on, I accepted it because I love her. We're together while raising Zion. He recognizes me as his parent."

"You already have a family."

"I proposed to Nancy before. Dad immediately said that I would marry you so I broke up with even though it was painful but I had to do it. Zion didn't know we broke up so until now he thought that we were still together."

"I'm the reason. I ruin your family."

It hurts. I look like a antagonist of their story.

"Baby ... no you did not. I was the one who decided to break up with her."

"You're married to me Lisa and you know? it hurts seeing you with her."

Lisa hugged me gently to make me cry even more. She caress my hair and my back in a gentle way.

"Stay with me Jennie."

"L-Lisa ..." I stuttered.

"Please don't leave me ... stay Jennie stay with me." she begs. The look in her eyes was desolate.

In that one moment, I gave all my trust to her.

"I'll fix this hon then we will be happy." she softly said.

I nodded at what she said. I have faith in her. Even without certainty, I will believe her because I love her so much. I can handle everything for the relationship we have. I hope I don't give up.

"I'm tired Lisa. Please don't give me a reason to leave you."

I could feel her heart beating fast. Her hug became even tighter and she didn't want to let me go.

Lisa hugged me for a couple of minutes. I was the first to let go of the hug because she intended not to let me go. She stared at me. This is the first time I see her like this. She looks weak infront of me. Is she that afraid that I will leave her? her shoulders dropped. She held my hands tightly. Her eyes tells me to stay with her. It hurts me to see her like this. I hold both of her cheeks and caress it. She closed her eyes and felt it.
