!ATSUMU AND IWAIZUMI'S DYNAMIC!

Atsumu and Iwaizumi were both a bit insecure in where they stood in the relationship. They know they love each other but didn't exactly know how to be together. Iwaizumi had a hard time opening up to people, but Sakusa was he best friend and Oikawa was his boyfriend so when they all got together he had more of a connection to them than Atsumu. On the other hand Atsumu had trouble making friends and being in relationships because of what people assumed of him based on the way he acted. Oikawa and Atsumu were rather similar so they quickly became best friends and Sakusa was also judged as an asshole so they had opened up to each other about that and caught feelings.

Iwaizumi and Atsumu had decided to take things slower together than at the pace they were with the others. The others didn't mind this at all, they noticed and didn't pressure them.
Atsumu and Iwaizumi didn't directly say 'I love you' to each other for a while. Instead when they held hands they would squeeze 3 times to say 'I love you' and 4 times to say 'I love you too.'

One night Oikawa and Sakusa went out, they had things to do and shopping to get. This left Iwaizumi and Atsumu at home with each other, they took this opportunity to talk to each other.

"Atsumu, wanna talk while their gone?" Iwaizumi had suggested.
"Yeah, I would love that Haji." Atsumu had given him the nickname, he had one for everyone in the relationship.
"Do you think maybe we could go on a date? The two of us? Just so we had time to talk and get more comfortable with being together in public?"
"Yeah Haji I would enjoy that. I'm sorry I'm still nervous around you."
"Don't be Atsu, I still get nervous around you. We just need to become more comfortable with each other. I love you, I just have a hard time opening up."
"I-I love you too Haji. I understand about the opening up."
"Well how about we open up a bit now? I know you think I love the others more than you. Wanna talk about that?"
"It's just that I can be difficult, I am an asshole that's a given but most people don't try and know more about me. I just see how comfortable you are with the others and sometimes my insecurities get to me so I end up thinking you just have me here because you wanted to be with Omi and I was just part of the deal so you put up with me." Atsumu had said quietly voice cracking a little.
"Hey, I love you all the same. We are taking our time here and that's fine. It's good we're doing this at this pace. I feel the same as you do sometimes. I sometimes think you only are with me because of Kawa. I am with you because I love you. I am in this relationship with you all because I love you all. Equally."
"I love you all equally too. Sorry I made you feel like I don't."
"I know you do. Sometimes insecurities get the best of us."

Oikawa and Sakusa came home to the two cuddling. They smiled fondly at the progress that had seemed to be made.
