He quickly turned to me in surprise. "You love me?"

I nodded in reply.

His whole face lit up as he let out a huge laugh "Wow girls are really odd creatures, it's the first time we've met and you love me?"

Lifting my head up from the ground slowly to see his face I inquired, "Wait...so you didn't remember me?"

"We met before? Listen, I don't love you," he said as he placed his hands in his pockets and walked off. "What a weirdo,"

**

Days had soon turned into weeks, that I was starved from seeing the soul purpose I came to this foreign estate. I hadn't seen the Prince in so long.

Of course, he rejected me like two weeks ago but to me, it didn't count.

I thought about it logically and he had no reason to accept my frivolous decoration of love, so I planned to make myself grow on him. Well, that's what the heroines in those weird novels Sandra reads and hides do anyway.

The ticks and tocks of the clock almost threw me into a trance of tediousness as our foreign languages tutor waffled away in the background adding to the lulling mood.

"Wake up!" Harper harshly whispered to me poking me back to consciousness. "Ow! I'm up!"

"Good, remember the last time you slept during class or when your attention was elsewhere?" Harper reminded me.

"Yes..." I guilty sighed.

We were both punished and had to raise our arms and keep them up for half an hour...for the next time I was threatened with the cane, and poor Harper always gets pulled into it somehow.

Lucia who was sat across us gave me a taunting look as if she were saying that I didn't belong in that room with them.

And that made me glad I was housed with Harper, her room was exactly opposite mine forcing us to share the same suite. Whereas Lucia and Samantha thankfully were located further from us on the other side of our palace.

---

"Oh...how sad I am," I sighed as I placed my palm on my forehead dramatically falling onto Harper's bed.

She looked back at me from her desk with her blunt and expressionless face that she always carried and then turned back around and resumed in writing her letter.

'Ugh, she doesn't even care!' I thought, groaning as I sat up. "Hey, say there is someone you want to see...but you can't find them because you don't know where they'd be?"

"Go to the place that you have frequently seen them," she informed me in her monotone voice.

Immediately jumping from my spot on her bed I gave her a large hug from behind as she was sat by her desk writing and thanked her "Yes of course! Your so smart Harper, I love you!"

Then running out the door to the only place I could think of, the garden we had met in. (Even though I was rejected there...)

The garden was small yet beautiful, in its own corner of a smaller palace. Covered in green juicy grass that was laced in vibrant flowers of all kinds and had about 5 trees that were large and thick, healthy as could be.

---

Poking my head around the corner, I scanned the area for my handsome prince hoping he'd actually be there. "Found you!" I whispered to myself in excitement as my cheeks began to blush.

He was laying in the grass his arms behind his head carefree as could be, his black hair gently swaying in the wind each strand was perfectly placed, his eyes lightly shut as the sun rays generously shone on him reflecting off his body giving him a halo. Prince Aiden could be an angel...

Then with a deep breath, I had jogged to the space beside him and sat there watching the picturesque view that was him.

"Dark.." he let out as his eyes slightly twitched, he instantly opened his eyes to see me shading him from the sun and staring at his face.

With a large suspire, he told me "You again, so do you plan on following me?"

"Follow you? I just came here to look at this beautiful garden it has nothing to do with you!?" I explained slightly flustered.

"There is so much space and yet you chose to sit next to me," he stated as he leant upwards.

Nervously I responded "The sun was shining so nicely here. This space was practically calling me,"

It was clear he was annoyed by my presence as he shook his head and got up from his space moving to a different section of the garden further from me.

'Wha- why is he moving! Maybe I should leave...No! Remember Aria grow on him!' I told myself as I watched the Prince lay down in his new spot. I quickly got up and followed behind him.

"Again?" he moaned, his eyes still shut.

Shrugging my shoulders I smiled "What can I say I got too hot sitting in the sun, I prefer this shade now,"

Sitting beside him once more I asked " So what have you been doing these past days I can tell you it's been hell for me! Who knew being a queen was so much stress,"

"Ugh!" he groaned as he sat up "Can't you be quiet?"

"Yes, I can be as silent as a mute!" I stated compliantly like a dog (how embarrassing of me..) gesturing myself zipping my lips.

He gave me a screwed look as I gazed at him, my face leaning on my palm and my cheeks slightly red. He then scooted a few seats away from me, yet again I followed.

"Tch! Go away!" Aiden irritably demanded.

Instantly getting defensive I replied, " No, this garden doesn't belong to you!"

The Prince then looked at me as if I were stupid. (This garden belonged to the Royal family..)

'Aha, I guess that was quite dumb of me!' I thought awkwardly detouring "I promise to be quiet, just let me stay by your side!"

Yet again he sighed and moved himself from my side, I went after him but each time I did he'd move away.

"Whatever," I muttered " Here is fine,". I had given up.

"Haha," I could lightly hear the Prince laugh, and as I turned my head in delight to spot him I noticed him trying to hide it.

'I did it! I made him genuinely laugh however I didn't do anything funny... it's a sign I should keep coming!'

***

For the next three months, I would regularly show up at the garden I so often saw him at. Sometimes he'd show up and others he'd be too busy with his Princely matters. So every day I'd pray that he wouldn't be so busy.

It was obvious I was growing on him since I asked him if I was annoying once and he replied with "I'm used to it,"

---

My sleepy eyes had slightly opened as I was drifting back into reality in the middle of the dark night. I felt a small hand wrap itself around my waist and snuggle into my back then turning around to unconsciously return it I opened my eyes to find the silhouette of a person.

"AHHHHH!"
