It's already late and Seokjin has only recently developed the habit to fall asleep on time. He doesn't want to screw it up but then he also wants to support Namjoon and his new release for festa, 'Bicycle'. He smiles to himself at the name of the song, the meaning. It's a very Namjoon song and he knows people will love it.

While he debates over staying awake and falling asleep, he sees Taehyung's post on Weverse. It's not a song, just a video, a suggestion by him to the ARMYs. Seokjin never saw it before so he too clicks it.

The video is simple but also a very Taehyung thing to like. There is melancholy, streaks of nostalgia, a kind of longing sadness that is laced with hope and good memories.

Memories. He thinks about all the pics Taehyung has been sending him over the last few months. Goofy, wild to outright bold and sexy. He goes to his gallery, scrolling through the pics, laughing at few and licking his lips at the others.

Memories. Taehyung wants memories. And, Seokjin thinks he has the craziest, most stupid idea to give him one.

He decides he can congratulate Namjoon the next morning and not have to risk his beauty sleep. But soon, he hopes, he can execute his idea.

The time comes only after the end of Festa. A week after Festa. On a Monday evening.

Like always, there schedule is well packed except for this evening and the next morning. A break is what it is marked as in their calendar. But everyone knows that no one's really taking a break.

Jungkook and Taehyung have been itching to get back to their mixtapes. Namjoon and Yoongi are working 25x8 anyway, in the dorm, in their apartments or in the fucking bathroom. It didn't matter.

Jimin and he have been practicing for their new song with J-Hope, for which Jin has proudly contributed lyrics. They might be on a break, but he knows that Hoseok will show up, disheveled and concerned, at 12 in the night wanting to discuss changes in the song flow.

All in all, the break wouldn't be a break. Unless Seokjin plans in advance, which he does. Because that's what he is exceptionally good at (amongst a million other things). Plans. Strategy. Execution.

First, he ensures Jungkook is at the studio for his mixtape revision. Ensures that Jimin is there to support him. Easy peasy.

Next, he verbally takes a promise from J-Hope to not work on the said evening and the following morning. To consider taking a break.

Though his plan does not have to involve Namjoon or Yoongi, he suggests Hope to take them out too. To rewind, to revisit, to (maybe) relax a little. Even if Hoseok wasn't sold with the idea of not working on their unit song, he sees it as a bright chance to drag Yoongi out with their leader and maybe bond over nothing. He agrees. He doesn't question Jin's motives. He's Hobi after all. Plain and clear. Assumes no one has ulterior motives just because he doesn't have any.

If Hoseok does ask, Jin wouldn't hesitate to tell him. He wouldn't delve into the details but wanting to spend time with his boyfriend on their day off doesn't sound preposterous. If anything, it sounds like the right kind of break.

The last person he has to make sure is at the right place is Taehyung. His sweet Taehyung. His presently and currently hard working Taehyung, who either is immersed with their new album or with his mixtape.

Convincing Taehyung is harder. Not because he wouldn't listen, but Taehyung has 'plans' that aren't carved in stone. They melt and change their form every now and then. He would want to write lyrics, to record a new snippet, to shop a ton of clothes and accessories, to kiss and kiss Jin - all within the said 'plan'.
