"Hey Nagisa?" I asked through the phone.

"Hey I'm here Y/n. What's up?" He responded shortly after.

"Well, you see..." I began passing through the living room back and forth as my aunts, Kleo and Bellry set up their equipment, "I have this ball thing to go to with my family, right?"

"Yeah, Rio wouldn't shut up about how exited she was and Kayano wouldn't stop crying because you didn't invite her." He sounded like he wanted to drop the topic already.

"Well, you know... the reason I'm calling you is because..." Merlin why am I so damn nervous to ask him? It's simple, like asking Rio.

"Well I-"

I heard the doorbell ring, then heard it open. "Y/n your friend is here." Mother called.

"Oh coming!" I shout back, then gave my attention back to Nagisa for a moment. "I'll ask you later."

"Oh, uhm okay?" I quickly hung up the phone and speed walked my way to the front door which wasn't actually far from the family room, but not close either.

Aunt Kleo gave me a look that told me they were indeed ready for us to start. I made my way to my mother who had a weird smile on her face. I looked out the door and there Rio was, with I assume—is her mother—as well.

"Hello, you must be Y/n." The woman beside Rio announced. "I'm Aki Nakumura... Rio's mum." She he,d out her hand.

I took it—of course out of respect—and then motioned fro Rio to come inside. Her mother seemed as lovely as a red rose on the outside, but only Merlin knows the thorns that prick and poke inside, with the acceptation of me and clearly, Rio.

She didn't speak much of her home life so we all assumed it was fine—the class I mean. She never did give off any home problem vibes. Though maybe I am completely wrong and her mother is just an intimidating woman.

I mean I know I every one isn't like my mother, just take Karasuma Sensei for example. On the outside he's hard and built like a rock, but on the inside you can clearly see the soft heart of a jello in him. He cares even if it makes him roll his eyes to admit it.

Rio and I made our way around the corner into the living room where we where to get fitted. This also meant we'd have to pass the stair, which obviously wasn't a big deal at the time. However, Gakushū and down at that exact moment and all I could think about was, oh brother.

"What is SHE doing here?" He ran the rest of the way down the stairs.

I was a little surprised he even recognized Rio, she didn't look like herself at all. Her usually long strait hair, was pinned in a neat bun with some hair clips decorating the sides.

"What's it to you Shū?" I ask, annoyed at his attitude.

He opened his mouth to say something, but only let out air, in his defense there was nothing he could could say. It was useless to argue and he knew that. So, like a good boy he shut his mouth, stuck his hands in his pockets and walked passed us. Completely aloof.

"Rio please take your hair down." I begged.

"What, why?"

We were sitting on the couch, waiting for our next fitting. We had already measured out waists, our heir, and our arm length. The only thing we needed now was our chest size.

"Because it's weird and it doesn't suit you." I pleaded.

Gakushū never went back up to his room. Instead, he made it his primary goal to constantly glare at Rio and let her know she wasn't welcome. She didn't seem to mind though, I think she accepts it because she feels like she needs to punish herself. I really wish I could change her mind about that, but I know that's something only Shū can do.
