Nagisa sat to the right of me on a small couch. We were talking about something funny and it had me cracking up, but not as much as Rio did when she plopped on the sofa in front of us huffing out, "It's...over..."

We both turned to her in a fit which she didn't find as amusing. Not to long after her, Gakushū showed up, his hand pressed on the other side of the sofa Rio was sitting on. Half of his figure hid behind it and half off to the side.

"Hey." I say trying to sound as less amused as I felt. Though it was hard as I also needed to hide the growing grin on my face.

"That was absolute torture." He said, sliding the rest of his form into the open seat next to my Rio.

"I bet." I lift my left eyebrow.

"Anyways, how are you enjoying the party Nagisa?" Rio changes the subject, though Nagisa doesn't seem all that keen on answering.

He rubs the nape of his neck and coughs out, "it definitely something... new..."

"Heavens it's boring." I sigh out, leaning back into the couch. "It's a little different this time though."

"What do you mean? Y/n it's so absurd." Gakushū whines again.

"Your only saying that because most of the attention was on you." I point out.

Shū rolls his eyes and fires back, "your only saying that because they left you alone this time."

"Maybe." I reply smoothly then eye Nagisa and add, "maybe not."

Shū was not the only person who caught my eyes traveling from the ceiling to Nagisa. "Is that so?" My sinister friend asks.

I turn to her with wide eyes, "what does that mean?" Nagisa questions her, eyeing her with curiosity.

She shrugged her shoulders, "can't tell you."

"What?!" He yells a little annoyed. "But.. you just...Ugh forget it." He sighs and leans back into his chair.

"Have you already picked out your costumes?" Shū once again, changers the subject.

"Yep." I pop the p in the word. "Have you?"

"No, mum said she'd pick it out for us." He sounded a little more annoyed than Nagisa and that's when I remembered what mum said.

"Shū you out the nails in the tires didn't you?"

He didn't even try to defend himself, blowing some hair out of his face and putting it back in tact with the rest he agrees. "I've had enough with playing their puppet. I want to show it."

I sadly smile, "they won't listen otherwise, " then watch Rio do the same, but she just as well placed her hand on top of his unknowing one.

His head shot to her at the touch, he hesitated before snatching it away, "thanks but I don't need comfort. Especially form you."

I shake my head, "Shū be nice."

"It's okay." Rio does her best to hide the sadness in her voice and to be fully honest I almost missed it however, my eyes are not the only trained sense I have. My ears caught just a whiff, but it was there.

Before I could blink, mum was standing over Gakushū and Rio saying we should start getting ready to leave. I stood up with Nagisa copying me. I told him I needed to get my bypass from my room and that he was welcome to join me if he didn't mind, of course he didn't. I wouldn't want to stay in a room full of snakes either.

"Your brother seems..." he started.

"Mean, I know but once you get to know him he's actually a tolerable person." I sigh then turn my head back to Matt his and smile.

He nervously chuckles again and states, "actually I was gonna say conflicted."

"Oh..." my breath fades.

"Actually Y/n before we go any farther I should say something..."

"We're on a time schedule, can it wait?" I say, sorrow covered in my tone, I know he could hear it, so he didn't take it deeply.

"As much as I would like to say no, your right. Beside it's not your father who scares me the most, your mother is very intimidating."

I laughed, "and here I thought you had a secret relationship with my brother."

Nagisa's eyes will into loops as if his mind is trying to wrap around how I got that assumption.

"Jokes, jokes."

"I hope." He sweatdrops.

"Where here, just wait outside I'll be back in a moment or so."

"Sure."

I walk in my room and see my bag on my bed, I grab it and walk back out. I had packed it earlier today since I knew I wouldn't have time to pack it now. Nagisa still had a dazed look on his face as I linked my arm with his. His faded went pink and questioned my actions, "uh Y/n? Wha-why did you do that?"

"Just for a moment, it feels right. Please?" I lean into him, and as short he is, his figure fit mine perfectly because compared to me he could have been at least 5'6.

"Okay." The word stumbled out, but we continued walking back and finally we made it to the garage.

"We'll take the back row, okay?" Nagisa nodded his head, his adorable pigtails flowing back and forth. I have to admit I was a little jealous of how pretty and soft it was.

We hopped in the SUV and made a dead way for the back two seats. After us, Shū and Rio faltered in and soon the garage door was lifting up and the car was put into reverse.

My costume mask matched my dress a bit, it was mostly sliver and blue though because that's the color of Cinderella's dress in the story. Nagisa wore a small crown on his head, it was silver instead of gold to match the mask. Nonetheless if I didn't know him Ed look like an actual prince.

I looked to the side, curious as to what mum had chosen for Shū and Rio's costume, it was super adorable. Shū's was wearing a green hat with a feather through it, he was obviously suppose to be Peter Pan so when I looked to Nakumura, I expected her to be Tinkerbell.

I was right of course.

Rio was wearing a green and white face mask with silver glitter practically everywhere. It was cute. Smart and cute. I definitely give it the Y/n seal of approval, I thought nodding my head in agreement with myself.

"What are you so proud about?" Nagisa whispered, leaning over my body.

I blushed, "so close."

"Oh, sorry if that made you uncomfortable." He chuckled, leaning a little back, but still close enough to be able to hear my answer.

I shrug off his closeness and nod my head forward, "They're cute, no?"

He followed my eyes and nodded back, "yeah, but royalty beats fairies every time." He winked and tilted his crown.

"Cute." I wrinkled my nous at his pickup line, had he been practicing? Cause' it was working.
