Chapter seven

2 years later

Sofie has been doing well in her classes, she has been getting grade 10 work and has been doing well. The boys have been teaching Sofie how to shotgun, play football, play video games, working out, how to vlog, and social media. Sofie and Bryce's daughter's father's relationship was the best, it was refreshing seeing Bryce so soft and protective around the small girl. The boys sometimes see Bryce tucking Sofie in bed, reading her stories, playing barbie, and dress up with her. Sofie was so grateful for all of them that she had.

A month later

Bryce finally listened and decided to take Sofie to a private school, around people like her, when Bryce told Sofie she was so excited. The two have been doing school shopping online, buying Sofie new clothes, buying her uniform and books, he didn't want to let her go but it would be good for Sofie to get the house and socialize around people her age.

~Morning~

Josh came into Sofie's room turning on the light, shocked seeing Sofie and Bryce sleeping peacefully, Bryce's head on Sofie's stomach with her hand in his hair. Josh took a picture and interrupted the peace by screaming on top of his lungs, the father and daughter joint awake, Josh started to laugh seeing their shocked face. Sofie looked at the time seeing that it's 4 in the morning, "Josh! It's four in the morning!" Sofie whined hiding behind Bryce, "Today is your first day of school" Josh said calming down, Sofie jumped out of bed pushing the two laughing men out of her room so she could ready.

Meanwhile

Bryce didn't want Sofie to go. Yes, he wants her to get the best education, to socialize, to experience different things but he didn't want his little girl to leave him. Believe it or not, Bryce has grown emotionally and physically attached to her. Being that his life involves social media and some dangerous life regrets he has grown protective over her, he didn't want her to get hurt, or for her to get scared of him. 

Bryce walked downstairs surprised seeing all the boys are up and so were their girlfriends except for Dixie. "Woah what are you guys doing up?" Bryce asked curiously, "I want to see my little bean before she goes to school!" Avani said way too energetic, making all the boys chuckle, Bryce smiled. 

Noah walked to the kitchen where Bryce was seeing that he was pouring himself a drink, "Bryce it's way too early man," Noah said calmly talking the bottle away from him, "I don't know Noah, how did you cope sending Charli away to school?" Bryce asked leaning on the counter, "Actually I was like you, but then I realized that sometimes I don't need to be beside her all the time, she needs to learn how to grow up on her own, because what happens when daddy and mommy are not around to help her? What then?" Noah said folding his arms, Bryce took what he said into consideration, he never viewed that one day he can't be there for Sofie, based on his life it is possible. With a heavy sigh, Bryce looked at Noah and dabbed him, "Thanks, Noah." "No problem Bryce."

The elevator doors opened, Sofie slowly walked out the elevator with her uniform on, her hair in ponytails, and her white backpack on. She looked all grown up now, Bryce started to cry seeing his little princess all ready for school, everyone hyped Sofie up making the small girl blush. Seeing Sofie happily made Bryce happy as well. Walking to his daughter he stooped down to her level, "Ok Sofie today is your first day of school, you can call me whenever you want, if you can't reach me call one of the boys ok?" Bryce told Sofie, she wiped away his tears away and hugging him, "Don't worry dad I will be ok," Sofie said softly, he hugged her tightly after hearing her call him dad, he cried, even more, he remembered the first time she has ever called him dad. The sight of the two crying and hugging made the whole room emotional, some of the boys were crying silently and so were the girls. "I love you, dad!" Sofie smiled through her tears, "I love you too Sofie!" Bryce said rocking side to side not wanting to let her go. 

"Hey, dad we can hug all day long when I come home ok?" Sofie said softly still hugging her dad, "Ok pumpkin!" they both let go and Sofie kissed his head, Noah and Sofie left for her school. All the boys gave Bryce a big group hug knowing that it was hard letting her go.

Meanwhile 

The car ride to school was calming the sound of Bruno Mars filled the car, soft humming was coming from Sofie making Noah smile but it was completely wiped away when he heard Sofie let out a sob, he turned to her noticing her face was red, she was crying. "Sofie what happened!" Noah said turning to her and the road, "I don't want to lose him" Sofie sobbed, Noah put the car on autopilot, took off his seatbelt, and gave her a warm hug. "You're not going to lose him, Sofie, he loves you so much, he didn't want to let you go to school but he wants you to make friends, when you come home from school your gonna see him again!" Noah said on the verge of crying, "He won't let you go." he said softly making the girl calm down. "Love you, uncle," Sofie said removing from the hug drying her tears with her rag, the word uncle rang into his ears making him smile, "Love you to kiddo"
