The sun set low on the sky. You and Aliyah already went home.

Your mind was rushing, you didn't think you could sleep with the thought of Dream in your head. Every minute went slower than the one before it. You zoned out a lot of times only thinking.

But those slow minutes gone by and in a blink of an eye it was the middle of the night. You set up a little blanket for Aliyah to sleep on, even though you knew you're not going to be able to sleep.

You were not wrong. The tiredness didn't take over you so you ended up on your porch watching the late night visitors ride by. Cicadas buzzing filled the village, the moon was like a lantern on the sky lighting it up. Stray cats ran around chasing eachother, playing. Your mind was slowly drifting away from reality, playing back what you've done with Clay. Every little detail of the month you spent there started flashing-

"Hello, Y/N, what are you doing out so late?" Asked a raspy, Russian accent. You jumped out of your thoughts to see Jac standing there, couple iron ingots in hand.
"Oh, Jac, hey. Just can't sleep, could ask the same for you too." You said sitting up.
"Just- well, late night walk?" He said. Jac is never suspicious but this time he was.
"Oh really." You hummed. "Interesting. Well have a great walk, Jacob." You said jokingly, he chuckled and walked away. You leaned back letting your thoughts take over again.

Your mind drifted away, slowly into the world of dreams (quiet literally). Your eyes started to feel heavy and you slowly closed them falling into a heavy sleep.

"Y/N? On the porch, seriously?" Aliyah asked shaking you up. You opened your eyes and looked at her.
"Aliyah! Put your damn Hijab on, you forgot!" You said, face palming. Aliyah reached to her head then ran inside quicker then light. You slowly stood up stretching out your legs and arms. Compared to the porch bench, it wasn't a bad sleep, even if you thought you won't fall asleep.

You walked inside and sat at the table looking at Aliyah still putting on her Hijab. You wanted to hide your excitement but it was quite hard with your foot tapping on the ground.
"What's that?" Aliyah asked fixing the shape of her Hijab.
"Oh, I'm just excited." You said turning and looking at the window.
"What for?"
"Dream is coming today." You said trying not to smile but you're not that good at hiding those.
"Really? Why didn't you-" Aliyah got cut off by a knock at the door.

You stood up and jogged to the door. You opened it quickly to see the little boy standing there, who also brought your crow.

"Morning Miss, L/N, there's a guy at South gate saying that she knows the lady." The boy said.
"O-Oh thank you I'll be right with you, just wait a minute." The boy nodded and started looking around on the porch. You quickly ran back in, closed the door and found something nicer to wear. You put the clothes on and ran back outside to see the boy petting a kitty. "I'm here." You said. He looked up and started walking. You a step behind him.

Slowly but surely you made your way to the watchtowers climbing up and saying hi to Koji. You looked down and finally saw the man of your dreams. You screamed at the gatekeeper to open the gate and almost jumped off the ladder. You sprinted to the gate getting there before the second one even opened. Dream rode in, jumped off his horse and started running towards you too. You jumped into his arms, he spun you around before putting you down and finally hugging you normally. You took a sigh of relief, this is what you wanted.

"Y/N... You're as beautiful as u remember." He said putting a hand on your cheek.
"You're not bad yourself Clay." You said snuggling into his chest. He grabbed your hand to press a gentle kiss on your knuckles.

You heard climbing from a ladder. You looked and saw Koji with crocodile tears running on his cheek.
"This is beautiful!" He screamed. The boy went to comfort him the best he could. Dream laughed and so did you. You looked up at Dream. He was grinning at you.

"What now?" You asked whispering and cuddling back in his chest

"Can I kiss you?" He asked. "Is that bad?"

"Yes, you can." Dream leaned down and you rised on your toes, your lips meeting in the middle. He picked you up wrapping your legs around his waist, deepening the moment. His lips were slightly chapped but soft against yours. You felt him smile, and chuckle in the kiss. You finally parted. He was smiling like and idiot, his lips a little puffy from the kiss.

You blushed putting your forehand on his shoulder. "You're so stupid." You said chuckling, he laughed and put you down.
"But you love me, can't deny that." He said putting a stray hair behind your ear.
"No, I can't." You said lacing your fingers together.
You started pulling on his arm to follow you back to the house. You walked around the houses hands laced with his, still blushing red from the kiss.

You got to your home and knocked on the door. Aliyah answered it smiling.

You talked for hours with Dream about everything and nothing, Aliyah not joining in. Dream even applied for the Capitan Assistant rank in the Guard. The sun slowly fell and it was time for bed. Aliyah agreed to go over to Violets house to sleep, so that you had the house for yourselves. Dream slipped under the sheets waiting for you to get in next to him. You climbed in bed snuggling into his chest.

"Wanna hear a secret?" He said drawing little circles on your arm.

"Hm?"

"I fell in love with your eyes"

"You know what's funny?"

"What?"

"I did too."
