Today is the last day of baseball. I was extremely nervous. The last day of school is on Monday, I know weird right? But I was hoping that Levi would be here to watch me win this game. Yes, I am sitting in the locker room. We have 5 minutes 'till we have to be on the diamond. My team entered the dugout to be greeted by the coach.

"Alright boys, girl, and the others on the team!" the coach joked

"Hey, you know I'm faster than all of you combined" oh yeah, when we are missing someone, we get Hope to fill in. as she has said, she is Hella fast.

"Yeah, yeah, we all know. But we need to beat Jonson high school."

"Yes coach," we all say. We all put our hands in that like team cheer thing, you know. And I get to count

"3...2...1"

"Go, Marauder's" we chant, throwing our hands up.

We went over some basic rules like every game

Baseball has two teams of 9 players.

Games last for 9 innings. both teams get to bat once. If the game is a tie after 9 innings, then an extra inning will be

Once a batting order is picked, then it cannot be changed throughout the game.

If the batter hits the ball from the pitcher, they try to at least get to first base. They can then run to as many bases as they want before being tagged out. Each base must be touched with some part of the body of the batter when running past.

A batter gets up to three strikes before getting out. A strike is deemed when a batter swings for a ball and misses it.

When on base, the battery can run to the next base at any point.

Players can be dismissed by either a 'strike out', 'force out', 'fly out', and 'tag outs'

All sports at our school have the same colour of uniform, Navy, Red and Grey. We all go out to our positions as we are not the ones batting. I and Hope switch off as the picture. I go first. As the first batter walks up to the home base, I get ready to pitch. As I pitch, the batter gets ready to swing. He gets a strike, and two more after that, which means he is out. It was our turn to bat. We decided on me going second and Hope going first. As I watched from the dugout, she got up to the home base, bent her knees a little, and got ready to swing. The other team did not go easy on her, they never had to in the first place. She swings, the ball hits the bat, and she got a home run. It was my turn, so I got up to bat. The ball came flying to me and I hit it, I got to the second base. In the first inning, it was 7 to 5 for our team.

I could hear the boys on the other team joking about Hope until she pitched. She strikes everyone out. The scores went like this

Second inning 10 to 5 us

Third inning 11 to 10 us

Fourth inning 13 to 11 them

Fifth inning 15 to 13 them

Sixth inning 22 to 20 us

Seventh inning 24 to 24 tie

eighth inning 27 to 25 then

And the ninth inning 28 to 28 tie. So, we had another inning to see who wins. It ended with 32 to 33 us. We win. I was so happy I ran over to where the other students where I wanted to see Levi. I know he was there because Hope played that day. He never misses anything of Hope's. then I saw him.

"Levi" I shout. I run up to him and hug him. "Am so sorry about Monday. I love you. I love you so, so much"

"it's okay babe, I love you too," he said hugging me back.

Hope walked up to us and said "so, you two going to the leg"

"Who else is going" asked Levi

"Just the group" she stated

"Okay we'll be there," I say

"Okay see you soon" and she walked off

When we got there, we found Hope and the others.

"Hey boys," JC said to get everyone to see me and Levi.

Jacob-Carson Khan (JC for short), age 17, gay. He has this rounded face. He was first friends with Connor. Like Connor, JC is from the Philippines. He has this silky-looking hair, and he wears glasses. He is 5'5.

"Ay, they made it" cheered Audrey.

"We thought you two weren't going to come" complained Harper

"So true" joked Naomi.

Naomi Hill, age 17, straight. Her birthday is in a few days. She is, as well as Gianna Nelson, Nicholas Fortin, and David Cote, are from the Philippines. She is 5'6. She is skinny, and She has long hair.

"don't worry, we aren't that mean" Levi joked.

That night was fun. I ended up staying at Hope's place, as well as the others, for the night.

I woke up before everyone else, so I got upstairs and got some cinnamon toast crunch, do not judge.

"Hey babe, what you are doing up so early," Levi said as we walked up the stairs

"I do not know, just board I guess" I answered truthfully, "hay can we go to your house I kinda just wanna have a lazy day today," I asked

"of course, let me just text Hope telling her we left," he said pulling out his phone

I replied with a simple "okay"
