They did it. They defeated Kaguya and Madara. They had won, but it was at a cost, they lost everyone and everything.

These thoughts were interrupted by a loud voice echoing in the head of one Naruto Uzumaki.

"Naruto?" The voice said.

"What is it Kurama?" The usually loud blonde said quietly.

"You wish you could fix this, right?"
"You wish you could fix this, right?" Not waiting for an answer the voice-Kurama- continued. "I might have a way to bring you back to the past, but it's risky." The blonde sat up ignoring the pain in his leg.

"You can what?!" He yelled earning a wince from Kurama.

"It's risky, but I might be able to bring us back to before this happened." Kurama told him getting a grin.

"Let's do it!" He said he would do anything for a chance to see his husband once more.

"I'm going to need to take over and use my Chakra, are you going to be ok?" Kurama asked, the kid had become like a son to him.

Naruto looked at the ground littered with bodies civilian and Ninja alike, before nodding and allowed Kurama to take control, he trusted him not to do anything stupid.

It took Kurama 10 minutes before the Jutsu started to work, a bright light flashed as they were sent back. Kurama had sent Naruto back into his 12 year old body not knowing he was with the Hokage who felt Naruto's change in Chakra immediately.

"Who are you?" The Hokage asked calmly from his seat at his desk, though he was secretly freaking out, Naruto's Chakra changed so quickly.

"What?" Naruto asked shocked that it actually worked and that his leg was now healed.

"I asked who you were, your Chakra's much to strong to be Naruto's." The Hokage told him.

"I am Naruto! Have you finally lost it?!" Naruto yelled loudly, he hadn't done that in years. The Hokage nodded before allowing Naruto to leave still suspicious.

Naruto walked out of the office reaching for his chest where a chain hung loosely with a silver band on it, he sighed in relief that it was in fact there.

The first thing Naruto did when he got to his apartment was go into his mindscape to talk to Kurama who he found asleep.

"Kura." Naruto asked walking up to the Tailed Beast who didn't move a bit. "Kura." Naruto tried again.

"Kurama!" Naruto yelled waking Kurama up.

"What do you want, I was sleeping?!" Kurama yelled.

"We did it, we're really back." Naruto told him as tear swelled in his eyes.

"We have to stop it this time, Kura." Naruto said suddenly serious.
