"Since there are a lot more people than we thought there would be, we will hold preliminary fights." Kotetsu said.

Though Gaara didn't win like he did last time, he didn't hurt Lee enough for him to have to have surgery.)

"You have a month to train before the finals begin." Kotetsu said before leaving.

(Tiny Timeskip to where Naruto asks Kakashi to train him)

"Kakashi-Sensei, could you train me for the finals?" Naruto asked even though he knew the answer.

"I'm going to be training Sasuke, but I did find someone to train you. He'll meet you here tomorrow." Kakashi told Naruto.

"Alright, thank you Sensei." Naruto said.

(Tiny Timeskip to the Hokage's office)

Naruto walked into the office, he never cared who was in there when he went in. Hiruzen was talking to one of the Anbu who had helped Naruto bring Orochimaru to his cell.

"Naruto, just the person I need." Hiruzen said, this of course made Naruto suspicious.

"For what exactly?" Naruto said calmly, though he was panicking.

"Orochimaru refuses to talk to anyone but you." The Anbu said.

"Ok?" Naruto was confused as to why Orochimaru would do that.

"He stated he would only talk to the one who put him in the cell." Hiruzen told Naruto.

"And I'm needed to go talk with him." Naruto stated earning a nod from Hiruzen. "Let's go." Naruto looked at the Anbu and left in a puff of smoke.

The Anbu arrived in front of the building that held the Anbu headquarters next to Naruto, who wouldn't be let in unless he had an Anbu or Hiruzen with him.

The Anbu led Naruto to the cells where Orochimaru was being held.

"You don't have to worry about him attacking you, he can't do anything in this cell." The Anbu told Naruto leaving him alone in the cell with Orochimaru.

"How did you do it?" Orochimaru asked.

"Do what?" Naruto asked looking at him.

"Bring us back to the past." Orochimaru asked, Naruto froze.

"What?" Naruto asked shocked at what he just heard.

"I asked how you brought us back to the past, Lord Seventh." The last part was said sarcastically.

"What gave it away?" Naruto asked.

"Kabuto told me your card was blank. Your comment as I passed out. And your fighting, no Genin is capable of that." Orochimaru said.

"So, why were you trying to give Sasuke a snake hickey?" Naruto asked.

"I wanted to see what you would do." Orochimaru shrugged. "You manage to bring anyone else back?"
