"Oh, dear God, no!" The woman shrieked, as she continued to run away from the horrible creation that no god she knew would have made.
The tears flew down through her cheeks, while fear and anxiety hammered through her chest like a storm.
With each step she took, she knew the dark, horrid creatures were closing in on her. If she planned to stay alive, she better run fast and find a way out.
But, wasn't that also part of the problem? That she wasn't able to find any exits at all?
The creatures behind her screeched a horrible sound, a sound that can be compared to anyone who drags a sharp object to a blackboard and drags hard into it and it makes this awful noise that hurts the ears of anyone.
The woman sobbed in agony, in pain of the injuries, in fear, and in dying hope. If this was how she was going to die, all because of a stupid dare that she took from her colleagues, she wasn't prepared for anything written i to her tombstone yet.
"Ah!" She yelped in pain, as she hadn't noticed that she had ran by a sharp nail across the wall, and it had scraped her right arm in a horizontal line. The blood seeped out in a fast motion, and the creatures that chased her seemed to be gaining more speed, and it must have been their lust for the blood.
She sobbed, wondering why she had to die in a fate like this.
As she was losing hope, she found a slightly opened door to the left, and with the remaining energy she had left of her, she picked up her speed and forced her legs to be sore and tired, until she reached the ajar door.
Once she grabbed hold of the door, swinging it open and closing it in, she clicked the lock and had her back against the door. She felt the vibrating push of the creatures behind the door, attempting to let themselves in, and the woman let out a triumphant laugh.
Slowly removing herself from the door and happened to spot a large brown desk nearby, she quickly pushed it towards the door, and placed it against the door. Now, the door was between a desk and three unknown creatures.
"Who's a badass now, Rick?" She asked no one in particular, but laughed it off anyways.
BOOM.
CRACK.
The woman jumped back in fright, turning around.
Her eyes widened and almost bulged out in fear, her heartbeat pacing faster ten times than before.
They were here. The creatures that was pounding against the door outside-- They were here.
Her heart stuck in her throat, her mouth hung open to scream, but no sound came out of her mouth. Her feet stuck to the ground, her legs turning to wobbling jelly, she was trapped. She had nowhere to run to.
This was it.
Her time ends here.
The creatures snarled, and they jumped towards her, teeth bared, and at the last moment of it all, the scream of a woman whose death was inevitable echoed within the house, as the black beasts savoured upon her human flesh and blood.
The maiden's corpse laid there on the ground, as her blood colored the wooden floor, and half of it dripped through small, wooden holes.
There was no sign of any life in her anymore.
Evangelization #24 was complete.
