\ Leonardo's Point of View /

The birds were chirping, flowers alike were blooming, windows have been opened, and people from all around town have busied themselves for another day in the kingdom of Dracula.
But, what about Leonardo?
The young vampire had plans; he was supposed to be with his tutor, studying the historic vampire ancestors who had tried succeeding the throne of many others, he should also be practicing on how to duel others by the use of a sword, he should be practicing playing the piano and the violin, and he should be reading the literature books that his mother had provided for him to expand his vocabulary and formal speaking.
But, what was he doing?
He was merely just gazing out of the balcony, procastination taking over him. As much as he wanted to be as successful as his father and his ancestors, he could not help but at least be tired or lazy about all of it. Everyday in his immortal life, he had only been doing was to improve his characteristics in order to be the kind of vampire who would likely lead a kingdom. It has become an ugly routine for him, just how it was with his father and ancestors before him. He certainly did not want to let them down or become a disgrace to the Dracula heir. Their bloodline is the utmost importance.
As he watched from above, he had once again met the figure of the mortal man he had an infatuation on, and he saw that he was once again flirting with another woman, or that was what Leonardo thought, anyway. After thinking that he was flirting with one of his clients, he suddenly realized that the woman was shouting, or more likely pleading at him. Leonardo knew not why she was doing this, so he listened.
The woman was in tears, grabbing a hold of the expensive cloth that her supposed to be 'lover' was wearing. This man yanked her hand away from him, making the woman sob more, tears falling from her eyes through her cheeks, until it stained her collar.
"Please, you said you loved me! You cannot leave me like this, not with--"
He cutted her off. He snapped at her, his eyes flaring like those of the anger of a dragon's. "Not with what?"
She gulped, fear and anxiety filled her eyes. What has shone once the brightness of her future with him, now turned out to be in a desparation of keeping that future real.
"Not with," Her hands were shaking. Even if she had clenched her small, wrinkled hands from showing him that she was not by the least affected by all of this, it still showed in her expression that she was.
She took a deep breath, then let it out. She stared at him with tears overflowing her eyes. "Not with the baby."
Leonardo must have hitched a breath. He must have, because at that moment, he, yes he, looked up at him, eyes widen in fear, shock, and confusion. Leonardo's jaw hanged open, and from the beating of his heart, the andrenaline rushed through him, and he realized that he was staring up at him. When he came upon himself, he walked in a rush back inside, mentally noting to himself to never, ever, do such a stupid action.
Leonardo then went off his way to do what he was supposed to do.

Leonardo finished all what he had to do, and he can now finally rest on his bed, gazing upon the ceiling of his room. The door of the room opened and closed, and Leonardo raised his head only a few inches to see who it was. Said person jumped on top of him, giggling.
