11: Ace

"He what?!" Ace asked the following morning.

Cassius was glaring.

"That stupid hufflepuff son of a bitch." Ace said clearly mad Mary got stood up.

"Why didn't you come to me??" Ace asked.

"I was but Adrian found me and we hung out for a while." Mary told him.

"I'm gonna kill him." Ace said.

"No you're not." Mary told him. "It's fine Ace. Seriously, I'm okay." She told him.

He raised an eyebrow.

She turned to Diana.

Diana shrugged.

"I just wanna die." Mary said groaning.

"Well don't, we have two more classes for today, Mary." Cassius told her smirkingZ

Mary rolled her eyes.

"What time is it?" She asked. "10:33..SHIT WE'RE LATE!" Said Diana.

They all got up quickly.

They entered astronomy and everybody turned to them.

"Late again?" Professor Sinistra asked.

"We are so sorry, professor.." Diana said.

"We lost track of time.." Ace told her.

"Detention for all you four at 3 pm today." She told them.

They groaned.

"I trust you won't be late to find your seats?" She asked.

Mary sat with Ace and Diana sat with Cassius.

"I can't believe we got detention on a Monday. Worst day." Ace said as everybody began to talk with their partners.

"Right? God. We really need to keep an eye on the clock." Mary said.

Ace let out a chuckle.

Mary looked around and saw Adrian laughing with Lola.

For some reason, Mary felt this weird feeling when she saw them.

She smiled seeing that he was happy and turned back to Ace.

After their classes, it was now 2:50.

Mary was walking towards detention.

She entered dumbledores office.

There were six people, Mary, Diana, Ace, Cassius, Ally Johnson, and Abraham Theeso.

Mary didn't quite know the other two.

"Hello, Ms.Miller." Dumbledore said as she entered.

"Good evening, Headmaster." She said with not emotions on her face.

"Today you guys with be on different duties...Ms.Johnson will be with Mr.Warrington you guys will pick up trash from the courtyard till 6. Ms.Miller will be with Mr. Salvatore and they will dust the trophy room. Ms. Malfoy and Mr. Theeso will go find Hagrid. He has something for you."

"Well, at least I'm with Ace." Mary thought.

"Vamos..." Mary said as Dumbledore gave them supplies.

They went into the trophy room.

Mary coughed at the dust.

It was dark and dirty.

There was a couch and then a few cases.

"We will work faster if we do one case each person. I'll get the furthest left and you get right." Mary told him.
