13: Slughorns Pary

Mary turned the corner after talking with Diana.

They had gone their separate ways to their classrooms. Halloween had passed about two days ago and they went to a party and went to the feast. It was now November first.

Mary had potions next, with Slughorn.

Turned the next corner and walked into the class.

She wasn't late nor early.

She grabbed a book and found her way where the crowd of students stood.

"Hello class!" He began.

Mary saw Ace and went to stand next to him.

Mary yawned gently.

As class was about to end Slughorn began to walk over to Mary and Ace whom were putting their things away.

"Miss Miller, Mr. Salvatore." He greeted.

"Good afternoon, professor." Ace spoke smiling at him.

"So, I am having a small party with a few of my top students, I was wondering if you guys would like to come, you may bring a date or just a plus one!" He said cheerfully.

Mary smiled and nodded.

"Of course! We'll be there!" Mary said happily.

"Perfect! The dress code is formal!" He said as he went to speak to others in the class.

"Lovely! It should be fun!" Mary said smiling brightly.

"I suppose, maybe I'll ask Ruby Lane to go with me? Or I'll just bring Cassius since he isn't getting invited." Ace said sighing at the thought of Cassius failing.

Cassius Warrington was basically just in all, trouble.

"Sup babes." The blonde boy said to a group of hufflepuff girls, who rolled their eyes and walked away laughing them.

Cassius rolled his eyes.

"Another one bites the dust!" Mary said approaching the blonde boy in the courtyard.

"Hey cmon, I'm working here, Darling!" Cassius said throwing his hands up in defense.

Ace chuckled as he walked beside her.

"You two really do do everything together." Cassius said rolling his eyes.

"Oh please Cassius, you've known that for years." Mary snickered.

"So Cass, there's a party for people top of potions class, wanna be my plus one?" Ace asked.

"My, my! Is Mr.Salvatore asking me out on a date?" Cassius said in a girly voice with a fake gasp.

"Shut up, you git." Ace said shoving him playfully.

Cassius laughed as another girl passed him.

"Hey darling." He said to her, she rolled her eyes and kept walking.

"What'd I say???" He said with a fake offended face.
