Chapter 2
Trip

After sometime, San and Hongjoong were sitting and eating the food that was left forgotten as they made out a while ago, until Hongjoong cleared his throat, mouth full of food. "Sannie, this is so tasty I swear you're the best! What would I do without you?" Hongjoong asked leaning to kiss San's cheeks softly as he devoured the tasty food made by his love.

"Surviving on take-out and ramen probably." San says rolling his eyes uninterested. San continued eating as Hongjoong clinged onto him. "Sannie, you're still angry from me? I told you already, I promise I'll come home on time from now on." Hongjoong whines pouting as San just rolls his eyes more. "Let's see when you do then. Anyways I need to go." San got up from the couch. Without getting a chance to walk further only for Hongjoong to grab his hand stopping him.

San looked down at Hongjoong still sitting at the couch looking at him, his head titled slightly. "I'll be back home tonight. You'll come back soon, right?" Hongjoong asked softly, as he got up to caress San's cheek softly. San just leaned into the touch kissing Hongjoong's palm a little before he smiled Hongjoong's all too favourite dimple smile of his, nodding. "I'll be back soon don't worry." Leaning in to kiss Hongjoong's lips one last time, San picked his bag up before going towards the door.

"I better see you there at home when I come back, ok?" Hongjoong nods as he starts cleaning up before waving back at San who closed the door of the studio walking out. San sighed as he shook his head walking out of the place, before looking at his watch. "10 pm. I should go so that I can come back faster." San shivered slightly in the cold wind of the night as he walked, his hand clutching onto his back.

After a 50 minute walk, San stood in a slightly abandoned area as he looked around. Since it was night no one was actually around. Looking up at the rusty metal barred door of the old house, San felt yet another shiver run down his back giving him goosebumps. "Sannie, you're not scared. It's just because of the cold. Okay?" San mumbled to himself rubbing the goosebumps on his neck as he convinced himself into not being scared.

"After all it's just an abandoned house with stupid ghost tales and nothing." The statement came out as convincing  from a weak, scared person more than a carefree one from a strong person. Slowly using his free hand to push through the rusty handle of the metal gate, San paid- or more of the silent surroundings made him- attention to the creaking sounds of the old jammed metal.

Walking in, to the ASMR of smashing and cracking sounds of dry leaves and twigs fallen apart on the ground, San made his way towards the door of the house. Once in a while San would hear a crow or two fly by making him look around immediately. Shaking his head, San slowly grabbed the dirty rusty knob of the wooden door that was half eaten by termites from how long it hasn't been taken care of.

San turned the door knob only to feel it go loose and fall apart on the floor. Raising his eyebrows in surprise San gulped before he heard the squeaky creak sounds of the door opening. From so many years of it being unused, the door had also showcased it's quality to be bad, resulting in it to open only enough for San to pass through it.

San heard his shoes tap against the heavily dusty floor, as he looked around. The house was big with a large number of webs hanging and threatening to drop their owners into San's hair and neck as he opened his video camera. Starting to record, San looked around, and focused on recording every single thing as much as possible. Moving his hand around to record the shattered glass window filled with dust and something that seemed like red paint almost gone black from how old it seemed, San moved upstairs.

San felt the weak wooden stairs creak at every step taken by him, as he kept recording the stairs as well, glass shards decorating the stairs. San furrowed his eyebrows as he got up to the second floor walking around with the camera in his hand, moving with his head slightly down to prevent his soft black hair with a metallic blue mullet from getting any webs stuck.

Suddenly, San felt something as he immediately shot his head back only to look at a window that opened and closed because of the wind. Chuckling nervously as San shaked his head, mumbling under his breath. "Stupid, San why are you acting like those movies show, thinking there is actually a ghost that will come from behind." San turned around and started walking, recording the house's features carefully as he stepped upon glass shards crunching under his shoes.

San walked as he saw an opened room, gulping and entering, San saw the curtains all dirty and torn flying strongly with the wind that didn't feel as strong as when he was outside. An old stereo sitting on the half broken desk as San looked around to see the blood marks and dirty walls. Deciding it was enough before he vomitted or fainted, San moved out of the room to make his way down and out of the house safely. It was around 2 in the morning when San had reached back home, already tired. San didn't know he would literally take so much time in coming back but he just felt really tired from his trip to the house that he walked slowly, finding no cab at this hour to take him home either.

Walking with heavy steps San made his way to the elevator before pressing the number for his floor and waiting for the elevator to reach his floor. As the elevator opened with a ding sound San smiled a little before tiredly walking towards his and Hongjoong's apartment.

Hongjoong had arrived an hour ago after finishing another track, as he looked at the clock to see the time. "Should I call San? I'm worried." Hongjoong was about to click on the call button to San when he heard the apartment door open, as heavy steps followed behind. Hongjoong turning back in his seat on the couch looked at San walking with one hand holding his bag while his head hangs low with his bangs hiding his features. San almost looked like he was drunk.

Immediately, getting up and moving to catch San before he could even fall down by mistake, Hongjoong helped San. Trying to sniff to guess if San was drunk or something, Hongjoong discovered no smell. Furrowing his eyebrows, Hongjoong was about to speak until he feels San look up tiredly with a small smile showing slight dimples but not fully.

"Joongie.....I'm so tired." San spoke softly in a tired tone as his eyelids threatened to fall close. Hongjoong not believing San was so badly tired immediately nodded and took him to their room before getting San into some comfortable clothes which was a difficult task since San was literally falling apart from his sitting position on the bed every now and then. Hongjoong chuckled a little as San looked really cute.

As soon as San was dressed in a set of pajamas, San had fallen on the bed without caring if his head hit the headboard or anything, pulling Hongjoong with him. Hongjoong surprised at the sudden pull at his grey t-shirt yelped and fell above San as San held his t-shirt in his hands, chuckling tiredly. "Let's sleep joongie." San said trying to settle properly under Hongjoong's body not caring about his boyfriend being above him as Hongjoong shook his head moving beside San from his previous position above him.

San immediately curling into Hongjoong's chest snuggled closer as his hands held his sides tightly. Hongjoong just held San as he wondered why was San so tired. He'll have to ask the reason to it tomorrow morning. For now, he just wanted to treasure the small moment they have right now, it's been so long since he held San close to him because of him never being home on time. Breathing in deeply, Hongjoong hugged San back before closing his eyes, his chin resting on San's head.
