Ch-24

"It goes back 12 years ago when I was sent to Amegakaure to check on a certain place. The place was suspected to be a threat to Konoha in future, it was a S-rank secret mission which had to be completed no matter what......."

Flashback

"This house is dark and creepy" murmered Obito as he opened the door of mysterious double storey house which was supposed to be his mission to infiltrate. As Obito sneaked further into the house  his foot landed on an uneven wooden plank and soon few kunais were launched at him, 'trap?' thought Obito as he dodged the kunais with ease and activated his Sharingan. Suddenly floor beneath him crumbled and he was knocked down deep into which looked like a basement, "so you found out eh...Konoha never cease to surprise me" said a person who was hiding in shadows. Obito stood on his feet and took his fighting stance glaring his Sharingan, "Sharingan!..... I think you are perfect to be our second member" said the person, "PAIN!" .

In an instance Obito was blown away with such a force knocking him through huge rocks. "What was that" groaned Obito in pain as he stood to see only a pair of eyes in the coal black basement looking at him..."Are those eys..." Obito said in fear pointing towards Pain. "No it can't be..Katon Gokakyu no jutsu". The area got lightened by the fire ball but it was just for a second as it got sucked in by Pain. "No jutsus work on me, neither you can hit me, also you can't run away from the sight of Rinnegan.....the moment you were given the mission to come here your death was sealed" said Pain. "Hey hey don't kill him...he has Sharingan. We won't get another chance to have a sharingan user in our organization. Make sure he is alive." said Toneri as he walked beside Pain with his eyes wide open glaring at Obito evily.

"Rinnegan and that is B-Byakugan? What the fuck is going on....I have to get out of here and relay this info" murmered Obito. He then tried to escape through a hole but was pulled by Pain and was pinned down on the ground with several chakra chains piercing throught his legs , hands and body. Obito was feeling helpless, he couldn't infuse any chakra or move, 'If he has the Rinnegan which is said to be once possessed by the sage of six paths then there is no chance I can beat him...what should I do?' thought Obito, fear slowly taking over him, heartbeat getting faster and faster. "Once we get him we will destroy his whole village along with every single shinobi...Pain can do it, Afterall he is the possessor of Rinnegan" said Toneri as he laughed. 'Destroy the village? Kill everyone? No that can't happen' thought Obito as face of Rin and Kakashi flashed before his eyes..."You bastards!" screamed Obito, his eyes looked different now. "There it is" said Toneri as he knocked Obito unconscious. "Was that needed?" asked Pain. "Sharingan...eyes which evolve when one faces a grave situation....at this moment his eyes evolved into Mangekyou which we don't know holds which sort of power. Never underestimate an Uchiha" said Toneri as he dragged Obito's body.

Flashback ended.
"And that's how I became the second member of Akatsuki with its leader....Otsutsuki Toneri." Said Obito to which no one had a surprised reaction but Minato....he was freezed as soon as he heard the name. "Otsutsuki? Did you said Otsutsuki?" asked Minato as he stood up which shocked everyone in the room. "All he said was that he wants to take revenge of his clan" said Obito. "O-otsutsuki...this can't be, did we miss one.." Minato was completely shocked. Now everyone were eager to know about who were these Otsutsuki who could even scare their almighty Hokage. "Who are Otsutsuki? Never heard of them" said Sasuke.

"Long long ago before any of you were even born there existed a very powerful clan in Konoha...Otsutsuki. They were the only clan other than Hyuga who possessed Byakugan. Though they possessed Byakugan they didn't used any Taijutsu which set them apart from Hyugas. Their members held powers which rivaled Madara-sama and First Hokage.

Peace between Otsutsukis and other clans maintained untill the Hiruzen-sama became the third Hokage. The tension then started to grow between Otsutsuki and other clans in Konoha. One day one of a very trusted person of Lord third came with a very shocking intel that....Otsutsukis were planning on rebirth of the Ten tails" . The word Ten tails was new for anyone present there instead of Obito. "T-ten tails....aren't there only nine tailed beasts?" asked Neji. "Unlike all other tailed beasts Ten tails was said to be the progenitor of chakra.Someone who holds power to destroy the whole world. Otsutsukis wanted this power in their hands so they could rule the world but for we humans who can't even tame nine-tails correctly yet how can we think to get the power of something which is more than ten times huge than all tailed beasts combined" said Minato.
