Elbow
I just think this sounds weird. If you try saying it slowly or in a country accent it sounds weird (not trying to hate on country accents. I love that accent).
The el part makes sense like when you bend it, it makes an L shape. But the bow part is funny to me.
If you say it in a county accent and over exaggerate it, it's like BOW!!!! I just think that sounds funny when you say it...... No judging.
It's like somebody named Bo was a cheerleader and then they were assigned the L of the word and it somehow looked funny. Then some stupid person in the crowd was like
"OMG! It's Bo and he's making an L!!! I'll call it....... AN ELBOW!"
Then that suddenly caught on around the word and now doctors call that joint in the middle of your arm an elbow.
