I waited until they were distracted, grabbing the weapons that I needed and leaving. I couldn't risk bringing the bag in case they heard it, they wouldn't see me. It was too dark for them to see me walk away, I could still follow the trail. I kept on walking until I came across what looked to be an old junk yard. I was greeted by arrows being aimed at me, it made wary of Abby's survival until I saw a dark skinned girl walk out of their gates
"Kou inoa, Outsider" the girl spoke, I had no idea what she was saying
"I don't know your language" I spoke
"Your name, Outsider" she said, her voice sounded authoritative
"I am Annabeth. I came from the Coverts. You have my friend" I spoke like a delegate even though I wasn't
"What friend do you speak of?" The dark skinned girl inquired
"She was taken from behind a tree, three miles away from here. She has brown hair and matching eyes. I'm here to offer a trade. Her for me" I said, she motioned to a man beside her
"Tora musikana" she spoke, the man turned around and minutes later Abby was walking out with only a few bruises, she rushed over to me and hugged me tightly
"Listen, you need to find those guys and get to Mount Mitchell as soon as possible" I whispered in her ear
"No" she said
"Just go, I'll get out and catch up with you guys" I said
"Okay" she said, we broke the hug and she started running, I walked toward the dark skinned girl
"Welcome to Simbi Imba, Annabeth of the Coverts" she said, leading me inside the camp

I was running, I did as Annabeth told me. But I was still running once the sun came back up, I don't know what time of the day it might've been but I never stopped running. My legs were burning, I had never ran so much in my life. All of a sudden I ran into something and fell on the ground, I heard the clicking of guns and put my arm above my head. It was those guys from yesterday
"Your name?"
"Abby Summers" I said, tears brimmed my eyes and looked down, I felt a hand on my knee, I looked up and saw the brown haired boy in front of me, one knee on the ground
"I'm Nick, you wouldn't happen to know Annabeth, would you?" Nick asked me kindly and I nodded
"Can you take us to her?" Nate asked and Abby shook her head
"Why?" Nick asked
"She said she'd catch up" Abby replied
