Chapter 20 Last Appointment

                                        Topanga's POV

"Cory! Come on! Come on! Come on!" I yelled as I ran through the house. I felt like a child on Christmas morning. In two years Cory and I will be hearing our little Riley yelling for us to get up on Christms morning. "I'm coming!" He yelled from  our bedroom. "Could I come?" Shawn asked as he slowly walked over to me. "Of course Shawn." I said as I grabbed my coat. It's November 30th 2001, it's our last Dr. appointment and I'm super exited. "Cory! Lets go!" Shawn and I yelled. "Okay!" Cory said as he appearedin the door way. "You take longer to get ready to go somewhere than a girl does." Shawn said as we walked out the door. 

                        *At the Dr. Appointment*

"Mr. and Mrs. Matthews." The Dr. called. Cory, Shawn, and I got up and headed toward the rooms. "Ma'am do you want this man to come?" The Dr asked as he stopped Shawn from walking past the counter. "He is family!" Cory said as he grabbed Shawn's arm. All three of us walked into a room with the Dr. behind us.  I sat down, I was ready to see Riley one more time on the screen I can't believe that after this I will see Riley in person. "Okay Mrs. Matthews pull up your shirt." The Dr. said as he walked over. I lifted my shirt up reveling my big fat stomach ! The Dr put the cold gel on my stomach. "Is that her?" Shawn asked. "Yes, thats Rileys." Cory said with a smile. "Your little girl is healthy." The Dr. said as he cleared the gel off my stomach. "Is she definily due Dec. 8th?" I asked. "Thats the final due date. She could be born early or she could be late." The Dr. said as he worked on the paper work. "So then we will see you in a couple days?" Cory asked.  "Most defenitly." The Dr. said as he left the room. "Cory, Shawn, and I followed. "You got work Shawn?" Cory asked. "Yea." Shawn said. "Okay then thats where we are going to eat ." Cory said as we pulled into the Café  parking lot. 

                                        Shawn's POV

"Hey Shawn!" Katy said softly. "Hi Katy." I said as I grabbed my notepad. "How are you?" She asked. "Better than I have been." I said with a small smile. "What has cheered up Shawn today?" Katy asked with a smile. "My best friends daughter I seen her on the screen today it was amazing." I said with a smile. "Thats cute. When is she due?" Katy asked as we walked out of the kitchen. "Dec. 8th." I said as I leaned on the counter. "Oh. Nine days." She said with a smile as she walked away.  "Hey Cor. What can I get you to drink?" I asked as I walked over to their table. "Coffee. and Topanga wants a tea." Cory said as he handed me the menu's. "Okay." I said as I wrote down their food and drink. "Hey, Shawn can I ask you something?" Katy asked as she walked up to me. "Yeah! Sure!" I said as I leaned on the counter. "My husband you see isn't to happy about this baby so he won't help me pick out a name. Could you?" She said slowly. "Sure!" I said with na smile. "How does Maya sound?" I asked. "Thats perfect!" She said with a big smile. "Maya Ann Hart." I said with a smile. The name sounds perfect. If I were having a daughter thats what I would name her. "I like it." Katy said as she grabed her food. I grabbed mine and took it to Cory and Topanga. Today has been a good day I got to see my best friends baby on the screen and I named a baby. Maya Ann a perfect name for a little girl.
