Chapter 21 Riley Faith Matthews

Topanga's POV

"Thank you Cory these waffle's are amzing!" I said with a smile. "Well I know how much you like them!" He said as he joined me at the kitchen table. It's 3:00 am on Dec. 8th. "It's nice to know you would get up at 3 in the morning just to make me waffle's." I said with a smile. "Anything for my queen." He said with a smile. He took a sip of his coffee and then looked up at me. "Nice face!" He said as his smile started to fade. "I... I think my water just broke!" I said slowly. "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" He yelled as he hopped up. "What do we do?" He screamed. "We need to go to the hospital." I said as I got up and hobbled to the door. "Shawn we are leaving!" Cory yelled. "Not with out me." He yelled as he ran into the living room. "Okay lets go." I yelled as we walked out the door.

*3hrs Later*

"Congrats Mr. and Mr. Matthews on your beautiful baby girl." The nurse said as she handed me my baby. "Do you have a name picked out for her?" The nurse asked. I just starred into Riley's beautiful dark brown eye's. "Topanga! The nurse asked you a question." Cory said nudging me. "Huh Oh yeah! Her name is Riley Faith Matthews." I said as Cory took the baby. "Could you write it out on this paper that way we can make her birth certificate?" The nurse asked as she handed me the paper.

Hospital: Saint Mary's hospital

"Thank you!" The nurse said as she grabbed the paper and left. "May I ?" Shawn asked as he stood next to Cory with his hands out. Cory handed Riley to Shawn and Shawn walked over to the chair. It was the first time I had seen Shawn smile since Angela left. Cory went and called his parents and Eric to tell them she was here and I fell a sleep.

Shawn's POV

As I looked at this tiny baby I seen Topanga with a lot of Cory and I couldn't help but smile! Riley's Big brown eye's starred up at me the smile on my face grew bigger. This was the biggest smile that has come across my face since Angela left. "Hi, Riley! I'm your uncle Shawn. I'm ganna be like your second dad, if Cory doesn't give you something you come and tell uncle Shawn and i'll give it to you." I said with a smile. She seemed to be smileing too felt like she was saying okay only with out words. I gently kissed her forehend and looked up at Cory. He was smiling.

Cory's POV

I just finished calling my parents and Eric. I looked over at Topanga and she was sound a sleep and then I looked over at Shawn he was smiling the biggest smile I have seen in months. "Hi, Riley! I'm uncle Shawn. I'm ganna be like your second dad, if Cory doesn't give you something you come and tell uncle Shawn and i'll give it to you." I herd Shawn say. I looked over and seen him kiss her on the forehead. I couldn't help but smiling. I mwalked over to them with a smile. "You wanna see daddy Riley?" Shawn said looking down at Riley. "Okay! He is dad!" Shawn said as he handed Riley to me.

Eric's POV

"Where is she?" I yelled as I walked into the room. Cassie the kids and I just got back to New York this morning Texas was not fun. "Eric! Stop yelling Topanga is sleeping!" Cory said as he wallked over to Cassie and I. "Awe she is so cute. I love her brown eye's. She looks like you when you were born Cory." I said as Cory handed her to me. "Yeah you really think so?" Cory asked with a smile. "Yeah I do." I said as I looked down at her. She looked up at me and gave me a wierd look. I bent down to show Joey. "Really another girl! What happened to having boys people! Josh and I are the only boys in this family!" Joey yelled as he walked over to a chair. Then I showed my six month old daughter her new cousn. Lets be honest Hanna has the slightest clue what i'm showing her.

Cory's POV

"What do you mean you can't come?" I yelled into the phone. "Cor! The storm is really bad! Trust us we want to come." My dad said. "Yeah what ever see you guys at christmas." I said angrly. "Cory we are sorry." My mom said. "look it's fine. See you at Christmas love you all. Bye!" I said as I hung up. "Cory whats wrong?" Shawn asked. "My parents can't make it here becasue of the storm." I said as I sat down. "I'm sorry Cor." He said with a frown. "Trust me Cory they wanted to come." Eric said as he walked over. "I know. I just want whats best for Riley! I just want her to meet her grandparents and Aunt and uncle." I said. "It's okay Cory." Eric said as he hugged me.
