Chapter 11 Dr. Appontment

Topanga's POV

"Come on Cory!" I yelled as I got ready to go the doctors. Today Cory and I get to find out my due date and the gender of the baby. "I'm coming!" He yelled. He walked into the kitchen and grabed a cup of coffee. "No! Cory we need to go to the doctors now!" I yelled "I want a drink." He said softly. "Topanga babe calm down." Shawn said as he walked over and grabed his coat. It reminded me of when I had lipstick all around my face and Shawn walked in and said use a mirror babe. Even with the memory I smacked him. "Tell your friend to hurry up. I wanna see my baby." I said. "Cory man hurry up and take your wife to the doctors." Shawn said as he rubbed his arm. He looked at me and I smirked. "Yeah i'm leaving." Shawn said as he ran out the door. Cory put down his cup and walked over and put his coat on. We we got there we seen Munkis and his wife. "Hey guys how are you?" Munkis asked. "Good." I said as I sat in a chair in the waiting room. "Wow Topanga. Are you due soon your really big!" He said. I got up and ran over to him. "MUNKIS! I am not fat! Now take it back!" I yelled. I went from being really angry to realy depressed. "I'm sorry Munkis." I said as I walked back over to Cory. As i was walking I seen everyone watch me.I sat down next to Cory and buried my head into his shirt and cried until they called our name. "Topanga Matthews." The doctor called. Cory and I walked to the back into a room. I held my head low as we walked though the waiting room. I was embarrassed for what I had done my burst was unexeptable and I felt bad. "Okay Mrs. Matthews are you and your husband ready to find out when your baby is due and what it's gender is?" The doctor asked. "Yes sur." Cory said with a smile. So I did what the doctor asked I sat back and pulled my shirt up. The doctor put the gel on my stomach and ran the thing over the gel. "Well first your baby looks nice and healthy." The doctor said pointing at the screen. "Well thats good." Cory said with a smile. "Mrs. Matthews it looks like your due date is December 8th." He said still looking at the screen. I looked over at Cory and smiled. "So whats the gender?" I asked. "Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Matthews your having a girl." He said with a smile. He whipped off my stomach and I sat up. The doctor walked over to the sink to wash his hands and grabbed the clipbord. "We are having a girl." Cory said as he hugged me. "Okay Mrs. Matthews when should we make our next appointment?" The doctor asked. "I don't know." I said with a half smile. "How is November 31st?" The doctor asked. I looked at Cory and he nodded. "Yes. November 31st is perfect." I said with a smile. "Okay then you are free to go." The doctor said as he left. Cory and I followed him out. "Do you want to go to the Café for lunch? Cory asked. "Not yet we have to go and pick up Joey and Hanna remember. We promised Eric we would watch the kids while they go and visit Cassie's mom in Texas." I said as we got into his car. "Oh yeah." Cory said as we started driving. When we got to Cassie's I ran up to get the kids. "Topanga thank you so much for doing this it means so much to Cassie and I." Eric said as he carried the stuff out to the car. "Joey ge your coat on." Cassie yelled. "Hey Topanga how is the baby?" Cassie asked. "It's a healthy baby girl and she is due December 8th." I said as she handed Hanna to me. "Congrats!" She said as we walked out the door. "Bye Mommy and Daddy." Joey called as we drove away. "Café?" Cory asked. "Yes! I'm hungry!" I said with a smile. "Good because we are here." Cory said as we pulled up. We got out and I grabbed Hanna and her dipper bag and Cory grabbed Joey. We walked in and sat down. "Cory...Topanga...babies. How are you?" Shawn asked. "Good. Cory and I are having a girl." I said with a smile. "Congrats!" Shawn said as he wrote down mine and Cory's order down. "Burger with Root beer." Joey said with a smile. "Okay." Shawn said as he walked away.

Cory's POV

This is good celebrating with my wife and niece and nephew. "Hi guys i'm Katy Hart, Shawns friend. He told me to come and talke to you guys." A girl with long blonde hair said as she walked up to us. "Hi i'm Shawns best friend Cory Matthews and this is my wife Topanga, thats my nephew Joey, and the baby is my niece Hanna." I said with a slight smile. "Are you Shawn's pregnant friend?" Topanga asked. "Yeah." She said with a shy smile. "What are you having?" Topanga asked. "A girl and she is due January 9th." She said with a smile. "Oh cool." Topanga said. "Cory and I are having a girl and she is due December 8th." "Awe! Well it was nice meeting you guys and congrats." She said with a smile. "You too." Topanga called. Shawn came over and gave us our food. "She is nice." I said as Shwan sat my food infront of me. "Yeah she is." Shawn said as he walked away. "When we finished our food we went home. "Uncle Cory. Where am I going to sleep?" Joey asked. "In Eric's room. You can also bring your toys in there and play. Just dont touch anything." I said handing Joey his bag of toys. "Okay!" Joey said as he ran up to Eric's room. Topanga sat up Hanna's pack n' play in the living room and then came over and sat with me on the couch. When it was 6:30 Topanga started dinner. "Cory!" Shawn said as he walked in. "Shawnie!" I called back. "What's for dinner?" Shawn asked. "Spaghetti." Topanga said. "Meatballs?" Shawn asked. "Yes." She called. "Garlic bread?" I asked. "Yes." She said as she pulled it out of the oven. "Dinner!" She called. Shawn and I raced to the table. "No running in the house." Topanga snapped as she walked up stairs to get Joey. " Food!" Joey yelled. We all sat down at the table and dug in. "Thank you aunt Topanga for this yummy meal." Joey said as he took another bit. After dinner I gave Joey a bath and Shawn did the dishes and Topanga feed Hanna. "Uncle Cory is it time for bed?" Joey asked as I helped him get dressed. "Yeah buddy I think so." I said as he left to go to Eric's room. As I cleaned the bathroom I rememebered the small fight Topanga and I had when we were in high school about childern. I told this little boy she was baby sitting he could watch tv when Topanga told him to go to bed. Topanga was real mad at me for that. After I was done with the bathroom I joined Topanga in our room.
