I decided to go out with Harini, that weekend as it had been long since I went out with her.

We went to a mall. I had a weird feeling that someone was following us, I looked back but spotted no one.

We went to the food court and ate some burgers. I saw a man wearing black shades and hoody pass by us

I was telling Harini all details about the village trip.
"In 4 months I would become Mrs Vikram", I thought.

We went to see the movies. It had been so long since I spent time like this..
I noticed the black shades guy sitting behind us... Was he following us? And why?

After the movies, we were walking in the mall.
"Hey Harini, let's take a selfie..", I said and took my camera and moved the angle up..

As I expected I saw the black shades guy through the phone camera, behind us, but he turned away from us.

I switched off the camera and turned back.. He was turned away from me,..

I rushed towards the guy, he saw me and was going to run away, when I grabbed him by his collar

"Who are you, why are you following us? ", I asked

" Remove your hoodie and shades", I said

He hesitated but then did so..

I was shocked..
It was Ajay!

"A.. Ajay? Why are you following us? ", I asked

" No, Sree.. I'm not following you.. I was just hanging out here", he said

"Don't lie, I noticed tell me! ", I shouted

" I.. I actually.. I ", he stammered
Then his phone rang, I noticed that, he rushed to the phone to cut it, but I noticed it before he could..
I saw the name Vikram..
Why was Vikram calling him..

" Pick it up and keep the speaker on" I said

He hesitated but did as I said

Vikram: Ajay, you are keeping track right? Of where is she?

Ajay: Sir,.. Mall..

Vikram: ok good, continue, tell me if there is something

He cut the call

Why did Vikram ask Ajay to follow me? To spy on me?

"Why Ajay? why are you doing this? ", I asked

" Ask anything to Vikram sir, Sree, I'm leaving", he said and walked off

I didn't stop him, I wanted to speak to Vikram, first thing tomorrow morning.

I stormed into his office when I reached the office, that morning.
Vikram looked up at me from his laptop

"Why did you send someone to follow me? To spy on me? ", I asked

" Because I don't trust you ", he said simply

" What? What do you even mean? I need to know the truth", I said

"The truth is Sree, that I never trusted you.. So I had a guy follow you to get updates about your whereabouts", he said

" No, I can't believe that, I'm not some villian who is going to join your enemies to plot against you, it makes no sense why you would ask someone to follow me", I said

"It does make perfect sense to me,.. Now if you would excuse me, I have work to do", he said

" Don't try to do this again, tell me why did you lie that day before the engagement that you hate me? ", I asked
