I got ready to work on Saturday,.. I didn't feel like going to office alone so I went to Vikram's room and knocked the door.

"Come in ", he said. I went in, his bedroom was huge, a little more luxurious than the Chennai house.

Vikram was sitting on the bed, working on his laptop.

" You are working today too? "I asked.

" Yup I always have, work, ", he said without looking up at me

" Do I need to go to the office, can't I work from here? ", I asked

"Sure, report your work to me by 4", he said

I glared at him, but of course his eyes were glued to his laptop

This is what you get Sree, because you are marrying a workaholic. He sounds like a boss even at home.

I went to take my laptop, but I didn't want to sit alone in my room , so I came to his room and sat beside him

" Why are you here? ", he asked

" Please don't tell me I can't be here", I said

"Your wish, you will be disturbed by my calls", he said.

I kept silent, angrily tapping into my laptop. Not even a smile, arrogant CEO.

I worked for some time, until Vikram's call, where he started shouting at someone which made me jump up from my place..

I looked at his face, at how a frown adorned his forehead.. And his eyes..

I recollected the beginning, when he had accused and shouted at me like that.
I hated that person.

"Couldn't he be more patient with people",

I imagined what his reactions would be if I'd kiss his cheek right now. Nope, bad idea..

I then got a call from Veena ma.
I picked up.

" Sree, Vikram isn't picking his phone, can you and him come to Chennai at once, for this weekend ", I asked.

" Veena ma, is there any problem? ", I asked

" Hmm.. No , no problem.. Vikram's father has come to India. He wants to see you both ", she said

" Ohh.. Ok Veena ma, I'll inform him", I said"

"Sree, Vikram might not accept to come, I hope you can convince him, for me", she said.

Vikram was still on the call.. I waited for it to get over..

After the call.. He put his hand on his head, groaning.

" Headache? That's what happens when you shout", I said

He didn't speak anything..

"So... Veena maa called, she wanted to us come to Chennai,.. Like right away", I said

" Why, what happened? ", he asked looking at me

" Uhh... I guess your father is here,.. She wants us to", I started

"Him?? We have to go because he is here? The last thing I will do is that", he shouted

" Vikram, Veena ma wants us to, for her,.. And I recollected what I heard that your father had no idea about this wedding.
Shouldn't we meet him, however he is, he still is your father.. So a formality perhaps", I said

" Sree, knowing how he is, how can you tell that, I need not tell him anything about my life ", he said

" But Veena ma? ", I said
