"Monica hurry up for god sake. It's been 15 minutes!" Chandler shouted up to her just as she ran out of her room. "Come on let's go!" She said in an almost demanding tone. "Are you actually gonna tell them?" He asked her as he lifted his duffel bag from the floor, where she had previously thrown it down. "I've left a note. That's what took me so long. Now let's go, Come on" she sighed opening the front door and grabbing his wrist, pulling him outside. After he closed the door behind him she looked at him puzzled. "Aren't you going to say goodbye?" "I did it when you were upstairs" he smiled "just throw your stuff in the back and we'll go". He said, doing the same as what he had just told her to do, except she began to unzip her bag. "I'll just be a minute" she shouted as he climbed into the drivers seat.
After what seemed like an eternity, Monica finally sat down in the passenger seat, clutching a clear glass bottle. "What's that?" Chandler asked, pointing to the bottle as he started up the engine. "Just a little something to get us going" she smiled, taking a swig. "Wait, is that vodka?!" He near shouted, turning his head, an angry expression spread across his face. "Yeah, so?" She laughed "Mon! You are 18 years old. Where did you even get that?!" He snatched it from her and put it next to his door on the floor. "Hey!" She shouted as he began pulling out of the drive. "In fact do you know what!" He said stopping the car on the road "take it" he handed her the bottle sharply and she began drinking. "Thank you"she smiled with confusion "well I'm just hoping it shuts you up until we reach a motel" he said, keeping his eyes firmly on the road, avoiding eye contact and any conversation she might begin.
