Monica sat and looked out of the window in silence to entirety of their journey to the motel. "Chandler?" She whispered, barely inaudibly, still looking outside. "Yeah sweetie?" He replied, glancing over to her. "Can we go somewhere tonight... that's more... COMFORTABLE?" She still wouldn't look at him. "Um... Sure we can. Do you mean like so we can..?" no reply. "Mon?" He noticed she was crying. "I do" she sobbed quietly. "Hey? Don't cry... You know what, I'm pulling over" he said and turned the car into a small stop at the side of the road. "Monica... Monica look at me?!" She slowly turned to face him. "I don't want to get hurt again Chandler. I know you've said that you wont but... how do I know? How can I trust you?" She looked away again. "I... I love you" he whispered quietly as he started up the engine again and began to drive off.
-----------------------------
"You got your bag?" Chandler asked cautiously as he stood with the keys in his hand. Monica just nodded in reply before stepping away towards the motel reception. "I'll go get a room. You stay here" Chandler strode past her."Well?..." Monica sighed, still refusing to look in his direction. "Room 28" he replied "Monica?" He called as he ran to her side and took her hand. "What Chandler?" She complained, trying to pull her hand from his. "Monica..." he began again, placing his arm in front of her to stop her before pressing his lips to hers for only a moment "you can trust me more than anyone else in the whole world. I couldn't hurt you if I tried" he whispered before pecking her lips once more. The smile that played on her lips showed Chandler how much she believed him. "Come on" he whispered as he lead her to their room.
-----------------------------
"So..." Chandler let out a sigh of relief as he slowly entered their motel room, both of their bags in hand. "I'm just gonna go take a shower..." She trailed off as he shuffled away into the small, damp bathroom and locked the door behind her.
"Don't be too long, babe" he shouted through the door to her on his way back to close and lock their motel room door.Chandler made his way over to her bed and sat down on the edge, kicking off his shoes and placing his head in his hands. "What the hell have you done Chandler!" He scolded himself "Twice! Twice you have said I love you and nothing! She doesn't love you yet! Idiot!!!" He began to raise his voice. Over all of his shouting he failed to hear the reopening of the bathroom door, he failed to hear Monica walk around the corner and he failed to hear her quietly humming and giggling to herself as he complained. "Yeah! Idiot!" He heard a teasing tone from behind him. Chandler stood up and spun around to see Monica standing in his only button up shirt, only buttoned halfway down her chest, and her underwear. "Wow" he murmured, suddenly in awe as her long dark locks fell forward to frame her face even more perfectly. Once he had recomposed himself to an extent, Chandler slowly walked around the bed to stand facing her. "Monica..." He brushed some hair behind her ear. She looked up to him and slowly lifted her hand to place on his chest. Monica smiled before leaning up and softly kissing him. "I love you too" she muttered against his lips as they slowly reconnect and tumbled backwards onto the bed behind.
