I'm woken from my nap by Pacifica violently shaking me, nearly shoving me off my bed in the process.
"Alright, alright I'm up..." I groan, rubbing my eyes with a yawn as I sit up. "What's up?"

" 'What's up' is I just got a call from an unknown number through my mirror!" She stamps her foot while shoving a pocket mirror in my face. "Deal with it! My beauty routine is not to be interupted by 'heart cheeked' wearing blondes!"

I flinch at how hard she slams my door but quickly shake it off and open up the little pocket mirror to find a flickering image of Star staring back at me looking a little on the pale side, I guess she could hear us. "Hey Star, so why and how did you hijack my friend's mirror?"

She only smiles and waves her wand a little, of course. "Just wanted to call and let you know that Tom, Marco and I are going to be in town for a little while."

"Why didn't Marco just text me?"

"Oh, right about that; Tom burned our phones."

"What!" I shreak, nearly jumping to my feet but managing to catch myself before I can start pacing. "Why would he do that!"

"Well, we were going to text Marco's parents that we were all leaving after we were already out of town cause Tom's like, super paranoid right now and thinks that who ever is creeping on Marco might've tapped our phones, but then I got a spam messege and it pushed him over the edge so he burned them."

"...but it's spam..."

"Yeah," she sighs "but with all that's happened it freaked him out."

"I guess I can understand that, is Marco okay?"

"As okay as he can be; we have a plan to get out of town without being followed, we should be there sometime around midnight if everything goes right."

"Alright, " I nod. "we'll be waiting, now how do I hang this thing up?"

Star just laughs and rolls her eyes, with a wave of her wand Pecifica's pocket mirror is just a normal mirror again. Snapping it shut I quickly rush down stairs where Pacifica and Mable are watching an old episode of Ducktective and fill them in on the situation. Not that I can really give much since I was told so little.

"She didn't even tell you how they're getting here or what their plan is?" Mable asks, nervously braiding a small strand of her hair.

"No, it seemed like she was scared someone was listening."

Pacifica hums and folds her arms across her chest as she leans back to stare at the ceiling. "Well, we need to figure out where they can stay cause I doubt Stan is just gonna let three more teens hang out here at the shack."

"Yeah, I know..." I sigh, dropping myself down next to Mable and taking the horrible tangled knot she'd managed to make in her hair and try to work it out. "I'm sure Marco would be fine here, but Star and Tom not so much." I whisper, tilting my head towards the vending machine that hides Grunkle Ford's lab, both the girls nodding their heads in agreement.
With the knots gone from my sister's hair I begin to braid it gently while Pacifica paces back and forth to help her think.

"Okay, Star can stay at my place and Tom can stay with our other friend."

My eyes widen, my fingers pausing mid-braid. "No. No no no, that is a terrible idea! They'll kill each other!" I whisper, trying not to get to loud.

Pacifica just rolls her eyes and waves me off, saying they'll be fine but the growing nervousness in the pit of my stomach says otherwise. Tom will absolutely try to beat the hell out of Bill and I know it! And with everything Bill's told me, if its true, I wouldn't blame him.
"Um, maybe we should at least go give him a heads up, y'know, so he's not surprised when Tom randomly just shows up at his doorstep?" I shrug, tying off the end of Mable's braid with her hairtie.
Both the girls look at each other for a moment, like the answer isn't blantantly obvious that we should tell Bill. "Guys come on, we can't just not tell him."

"Fine," Mable sighs. "we can go in an hour or so to let him know."

"Why do you even care so much? The dude scares the hell out of you." Pacifica sneers, placing her hands on her hips.

I look around to make sure no one is around us, seeing the coast is clear I lean forward and whisper. "Because I don't think keeping two demons together is a good idea."

They both pause for a moment, but eventually Mable sighs placing a hand on my shoulder. "Listen, bro bro,  I know you're just worried but there's no where else he can stay and I don't think either of them are willing to get into a fight if it means ruinning what they have."

I don't like the answer but I know she's right and Star said they wouldn't be here till late tonight so I've got plenty of time to get Bill situated for when Tom gets here.

I hope.
