"Where the hell is he Bill!"
"Not here, Shooting star. Clearly."
I silently slip under the bed to hide, just in case my sister decides she wants proof and rushes into the room. I hold my handover my mouth to make sure not a single sound can escape my mouth, despite now remembering that not only is my phone sitting on the couch in the living room, but my dirt bike is just outside leaning against the side of the house.
My sister continues insisting that Bill stop hiding me and let me go as she puts it, despite the fact that I came here of my own free will and am more than welcome to either leave or stay at any time. In fact; Bill made it very clear earlier that he would've preferred I say home rather than come out in the rain. Pacifica soon takes over screaming at Bill, her voice raising loud enough that I move my hands form covering my mouth to hide my ears just in a pitiful attempt to block out her shouting. I can practically see how she gets in his face, jabbing him in the chest. Through all their hollering I manage to notice that neither Pacifica nor my sister have mentioned my obvious belongings that were left in plain sight. Unless...
"What the hell do you mean he's left town!"
What?
"I don't see how much more clear I can be about this. He called me and let me know that he was headed to Echo creek to visit some friend of his and wanted to make sure I didn't need anything before he left." Bill calmly responds, almost as if he's completely unfazed by the fact that both of the girls were, no doubt, just in his face screaming at him.
I hear Pacifica click her tongue, most likely putting her hands on her hips with a snobby look on her face. "Why would he leave town, especially to see someone so far away, without even telling us he was leaving! Like hell he'd only tell you and not us!"
"Well, maybe he didn't tell you because of how you're acting right now. Maybe he feels like you two are over-bearing." I shake my head, knowing that he's smirking at them right now. "Either that or something happened and he was in such a rush that he forgot
Both of the girls scoff, Pacifica more than likely having the mind to punch him before deciding against it and grabbing Mable, yelling a few more curses at Bill, as they leave. I stay hidden under the bed until after I hear the door slam and Bill's footsteps enter the bedroom again. "Why were you under the bed?" Bill huffs, reaching down and pulling me up to my feet by holding me under my arms.
"I was worried they'd search every room to find me." I shrug, my face heating up when he suddenly bursts into a fit of laughter. When he finally calms down he very happily informs me that I'm being foolish since there are only two other rooms aside form the living room and this one is only hidden behind a curtain. I glare at the floor and toy with the hem of the shirt I'm wearing, unable to meet his eyes, and my face obviously bright red. "You don't need to be rude! I was-"
"'Just worried.' I know" He smiles, taking my hands away from the hem. "You have nothing to worry about, Pine tree." I flinch watching him bring my hand up to his lips, pressing my knuckles against them. "I will never let anything hurt you."
"T-That wasn't part of the deal..."
"Perhaps not," he whispers, lifting my chin so I'm forced to look at him. "but a deal will never interfere with my personal desires." My eyes widen and I'm absolutely certain that my face is completely red, I try to pull my hands out of his grasp and he lets me but instantly grabs my waist so I can't get far. Despite his hold on me I back up best I can, quickly learning I was only aloud to do so because I was trapping myself between Bill and a wall, he simply smiles guiding my hands to rest on his hips before sliding his up my body until they reach my face.
