After we all returned back at the shack Mable insisted Pacifica stay the night on the account that it was already dark out, of course Gruncle Stan welcomed her by reminding us if we wanted extra food we'd have to order pizza or something and pay for it ourselves. Good ol' Gruncle Stan ladies and gentlemen; this old swindler will never change.
We of course ordered a pizza, making sure to order an extra since we knew Stan would eat some. After we ordered, we decided we'd wait down stairs so we could hear when our food got here. We entertained ourselves with a recorded episode of ducktective that we must've watched over a thousand times over the years, but we didn't mind, it was something to do while we waited. Thankfully we didn't have to wait long, with all of today's craziness we were respectively hungry. After paying the delivery boy, we placed Stan's pepperoni, mushroom, and olive pizza on the table then carried our more normal pizza of plain cheese up to Mable's insainley pink and purple room that only seems to receive more and more stickers and glitter everyday. Seeing the mess makes me happy that we had gotten our own rooms as we got older, yeah it upset me when I was younger, but seeing her room now makes it okay when you compare it to my spotless room that's filled to the brim with books.
"Alright." Pacifica muttered, popping a DVD into the player and pressing play. "What are we gonna do now?"
Mable frowned, glaring at the slice of pizza in her hands and shrugged. "Not sure, I mean- yay we succeeded, but why does he look like that. I thought he'd stay a dorito."
I shook my head. "He can't hold that form. I read in one of my books that stone is a purification item, it literally stripped him of his chaos."
Pacifica tapped on my forehead, causing me to scrunch up my nose and shut my eyes. "Is anyone in there? He almost broke your arm! I call bullshit on that explanation!"
Mable gently pushes Pacifica's hand away from my face and looks at me with a concerned expression. "Sorry, Dipper, but I agree. It just doesn't make any sense, he was still wild."
I sigh, rubbing my forehead and take a bite of my slice. "I didn't say it could completely purify him...Stone is only one of the things that can purify something, but it's the one that takes the longest and with how out of control he was when we locked him up, it would take more than a hundred years before he reverted to whatever he was before he became a demon; and that's assuming he doesn't fight back."
Pacifica groans. "And what embodiment of chaos wouldn't!"
"Exactly." I nod.
"So...What are we gonna do? I mean, after today there is absolutely no way any of us can be alone with him, but I feel like he's not going to cooperate if we all bombard him." Mable mutters, finishing her slice to grab another.
"We take it slow. All we have to do is make him feel like he's in control."
"And why the hell would we do that!" Pacifica huffed, tossing her crust back into the box before grabbing another slice as well. "No offence, Dipper, but I'm not all for giving him control of anything. I don't trust him."
"I know. But we need to know what he's still capable of, if he doesn't have his old form then there's a possibility a majority of his powers are weak as well. We just need to figure out what those are."
She sighed, slumping over in defeat. "Fine, but under no circumstances are any of us to ever be alone with him for any amount of time. Clear?"
Mable and I nod, neither of us having any argument about this rule.
