Ty and Amy are sound asleep in bed. Ty is tossing and turning.
“No!” Ty said, scared
“Wade please…” Said Ty in tears
“STOP!” Ty yelled jumping awake.
Amy wraps her arms around him.
“Hey, you’re okay,” Said Amy, softly.
Ty is still breathing heavily out of fear.
“What happened?” Asked Amy, softly.
“I-I had a nightmare, I haven’t had it in forever,” Said Ty, distraught.
“What happened?” Asked Amy, softly.
“I came home to find my mom being attacked by Wade and I tried to pull him off her which only made him more angry...before I knew it I was on the floor of the basement. My knee was bleeding a lot and I couldn’t walk on it because he hit the back of it with a crowbar and my hair was caked to the front of my head with blood. By the time my mom got me out of the basement because “my punishment” was over it had already been a week,” Said Ty in tears.
“Oh babe I’m so sorry…” Said Amy pulling Ty into a hug.
“It’s okay, at least I have you now and everyone here,” Said Ty, grateful.
“You always will,” Said Amy, reassuringly.
Amy kisses Ty on the side of the head.
“I don’t remember reading this in your journal,” Said Amy, confused.
“Yeah, I never actually wrote it down...it was just too hard,” Said Ty.
“Maybe you should try now, it might help,” Suggests Amy.

The Next Day in The Office
Ty is sitting in the office writing when Amy walks in and Ty quickly shuts his laptop.
“Babe it’s just me,” Said Amy.
“Oh...hey Amy,” Said Ty, relaived.
“Have you been down here all night?” Asked Amy.
“Yeah pretty much,” Said Ty, tired.
“Babe you had that nightmare at 4 am you need some sleep,” Said Amy, worried.
“Yeah, I guess,” Said Ty, giving in.
Ty gets up and kisses Amy.
“I’m going to go take a nap,” Said Ty.
“I love you,” Said Amy.
“I love you too,” Said Ty.
Ty walks up stairs when Lou walks into the office.
“How’s the book going?” Asked Lou, excited.
“Pretty good, he had a pretty bad nightmare. I'm hoping him writing about it will help,” Amy said, happily.
“That’s good! Can I see how it’s going?” Asked Lou, excited.
“No, Ty made me promise not to tell you,” Said Amy.
“Uhh why?” Asked Lou, annoyed.
“Because it’s very private for him,” Said Amy.
“Okay,” Said Lou with a sigh.
“I’m going to go check on Ty,” Said Amy.
Amy walks up the barn stairs

In The Loft
Amy walks in and smiles at Ty sound asleep on the couch. Suddenly Lily storms in and throws Ty’s journal on him causing Ty to jump awake.
“Mom? What are you doing?” Asked Ty, confused.
“How could you be writing a book like this?! It’s awful! It makes me sound like a horrible mom and person! You can’t publish this!” Said Lily, pissed.
“Mom, I’m just writing my story. It's not like I’m going to put our actual names in it. I made fake names no one will know,” said Ty, reassuringly.
“I don’t care! You are not publishing this!” Said Lily, pissed.
“Lily, you can’t tell him not to publish his story, it's helping him,” Said Amy, defensively.
“The story makes me sound like a horrible mom and he doesn’t have to publish it just because he wrote it,” Argued Lily.
“It’s not Ty’s fault you were a crappy mom!” Yelled Amy.
