chapter fifteen

One month later 

Ty was woken by his phone ringing. 

"Hello"  he answered  groggily. 

It took him a second to realize the voice on the other end of the line was his publisher.

He was shocked when the publisher told him why she was calling.

" what really that's amazing" said Ty excitedly. 

As the publisher continued talking Ty continued to get more and more excited.

" I'd love to I have to talk to my wife first but I'll get back to you as soon as possible" said Ty smiling .

After getting off the phone Ty immediately and somewhat vigorously truck Amy awake.

" what? Asked Amy groggily.

" I just got a call from my publisher " said Ty smiling.

This caused Amy to sit up, wake up a little bit more and start paying attention.

" what did you say? Asked Amy curious .

" she wants me to do a book  tour" said Ty.

" oh my God that's amazing" said Amy smiling .

" yeah it really is" said Ty smiling. 

" can I come?" Asked Amy. 

" of course you're the reason the book exists " said Amy .

" no I'm not you wrote it that was all of you honey" said Amy smiling 

4 month later
 over the past four months Ty had signed his name more than he ever imagined he ever would in his life.

Not only had he signed his name he had made a true impact on the people who had read his book and it was truly I opening up for him but by far the most impactful spinach he had ever heard about how inspiring the book was came on the last day of the Last Leg of the tour.

Amy and Ty we're just about to leave the bookstore When Ty felt a tap on hair shoulder.

He turned around to see a blonde haired blue-eyed boy who couldn't have been older than 12..

" I just wanted to thank you sir" said the boy politely.

" for what?" Ask? Ty politely.

" saving my mom and and I I read your book in English class and that's when I learned we were being abused I just thought it was normal to get hit until I read your book do you have us get out of that situation" said the boy with tears in his eyes

.Ty was at a loss for words.

" can I hug you" Asked Ty. 

" of course" said the boy.

After a couple seconds the hug ended.

" I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name" said Ty. 

" I'm Ryan" said the boy.

" I'm glad I could help you Ryan did you get your book signed?" Asked Ty .

" yes sir " said Ryan smiling.

" okay have a good day it was nice talking to you" said Ty .

" you too sir" said Ryan.

Amy and Ty then walked out of the bookstore.

" that was insane" said Ty .

" what was? Asked Amy smiling. 

" this whole thing the bookstore that kid's story the fact that this whole thing started because you read my journals it's all just so mind-blowing
Thank you for convincing me to do this" said Ty smiling 

" You're welcome I love you so much and I'm so proud of you" said Amy smiling .
