Niall's POV

"She's here. She's here bro." Liam completed his sentence and I felt more relieved than ever.

To be honest, I expected the worst. But as I snapped back to reality, yes, it was good that I'd finally meet her after so many months.

Good?

"Go dude, she's waiting at the cafeteria." Liam added, motioning me go.

Why was I still there?

"Niall, are you alright?" Harry's hand was placed on my shoulder.

"Yeah, I gotta go." I said and made my way out of the room.

I was somehow functioning slow? I really can't explain that. It felt like when you have a phone with no more memory card; it gets slower and slower when you use it. So, something like that was happening in my mind. I wanted to see her really bad, but I was hesitant because I acted like an immature child last time.

She definitely didn't deserve it.

Was I still in love with her? Did I love her? Did I want to apologize? Should I?

I couldn't find her in the cafeteria. Liam told me she was waiting for me here.. Or maybe it wasn't for me.

There was an unknown guy talking with her just near the exit door. I stopped to walk for a moment; I didn't know what to do.

Should I go interrupt them? Who the hell was him?

They were hugging - not just a friendly hug. I felt awkward and decided to get closer. I was facing her back; she was wearing a black long jacket, jeans and black Vans. She was also wearing her wig and a black beanie.

"I had a hard time." I heard her saying. I took a newspaper from a small table and leaned to the wall just as close to them as I was able to hear.

"I see, babe. We can spend more time together as you're in Chicago these days, I've missed being with you and all." He spoke and my blood was already boiling.

"I missed your company as well, Dan. But.. I haven't planned to stay here for long."

"Why?"

"I have my reasons." She awkwardly chuckled and I bet she blushed too.

"Come here babe, come." That fucker named Dan, put her in his embrace and she hugged him too.

"Do I interrupt from something important?" I butted in and I couldn't control the tone of my voice, which was mirroring my deep annoyance.

Yes, annoyance.

They un-hugged and Annie seemed startled by my sudden arrival. The guy knew who I was, he did.

Her eyes fell on the floor and uncomfortably swifted to me and him.

"No, actually." Dan replied, smiling.

"That'd better be it." I scoffed, glaring at him.

"What? You don't like somebody hugging your girlfriend?" He mocked and I balled my fists, the feeling really intense that I knew I wouldn't stop myself from punching him in the next few seconds.

Annie glared at him. "What?"

"I don't like mathafackas being around her so you'd better get the fuck out of here." I hissed, in a warning tone.

"I'm not afraid of you, chicken. Are you gonna call your bodyguards come protect you, you little piece of shit?" He laughed.

"And she's not your girlfriend any more. You broke up with her, didn't you?"
