And the days passed really quick, just like the months. It was August finally.

Back in May, Niall and I decided to get married, on August of the same year. Our relationship was getting better and better, I was accompanying him in the tour for some weeks. Then, we all got back to the base (as we started calling it after a funny conversation), London, and the wedding plans started. Melissa was there, helping me out. I didn't have a problem anymore, she had given up in the idea of going further with me, so everything was alright.

"Can you believe that you're getting married in less than 24 hours?" Melissa excitedly said, looking at me through the mirror, while I was staring at myself dressed in the wedding dress.

"I actually can't." I chuckled, shaking my head while smiling. "I think this is a dream and I'll soon wake up." She expressed, quite nervous deep inside.

"Think bright, positive. Everything's going to be awesome. Let's just not ruin our day, your last day of being not married, thinking about what is gonna happen or what could go wrong. Enjoy your bachelor day babe." She encouraged, rubbing my shoulder smoothly.

I sighed. Everything will be fine, my subconscious played and replayed.

That night, the last night of me being not married and free - well married or not, I'd always feel freedom being with him-, I decided not to throw a bachelor party. I didn't even get the reason why these useless parties are for. To be honest, I was never into the partying thing; and this is probably never gonna change. Plus, I hadn't many girl friends. Only Mel, I guess.

So, we would stay in her renting house, some blocks away from Niall's one; we would stay up at least until three in the morning and watch movies, have a little of alcohol and just .. Have fun with simple things that are more preferable than partying, getting drunk and do or say inappropriate stuff. I hadn't seen Niall for three days - for luck and a happy marriage I'd say? Patronages say so. We was in touch though, we talked on phone and I was extremely looking forward to meeting him; but the difference is that I was going to meet him in a church, both dressed as a bride and a groom respectively with a bunch of paparazzi just out of the church and hundrends of people from Niall's family and friends inside, watching us getting married.

I knew I'd feel awkward, because I was alone there; no parents, no siblings, no friends but Mel.. I was going alone to get married with the love of my life, it hurt me but at least I was getting married with Niall, the one and only man I've ever wanted and needed.

It still hurt me although I was advising myself that it didn't matter because the most important thing was Niall.

A tear escaped my eye and I immediately wiped it off.

It was already evening of my wedding's eve. Melissa and I had already eaten some pizza and sat outside in the back yard of her beautiful renting house, chilling at the small kiosk.

"Why?" Melissa tilted her head lower, in front of my face. "C'mon, tell me. What's bothering you?"

The weather was warm even at night. The sky was clear and the sky was full of stars that surely made an unique atmosphere.
