"You are not allowed to have a government distributed weapon," Hyunjin deadpanned, turning his attention back towards the yellow folder that was placed on his desk the day before by Seungmin.

Had he known that Felix was going to develop some form of separation anxiety overnight when Hyunjin said he had to go back to work, he would have had this all figured out. He would have called Eric and had him go hang out with Felix at his apartment- easy as that.

But, he wasn't aware that Felix was going to forcefully fit himself into the black truck that Hyunjin was forced into driving by the agency, and then walk right into the building with a mask on and a bucket hat hiding his butchered bleach job.

Now, only because the room was empty and Seungmin happened to have the day off, Felix was bothering Hyunjin for things that he wasn't quite allowed to even have his hands on.

First, it was the computer that was folded closed beside the large PC screen that was open. His argument simply being that it wasn't being used- he should be allowed to have it.

As close as Hyunjin was to caving in, especially considering that it was his own laptop that he no longer used, he couldn't cave in in time for Felix to get ahold of the taser that was in the top drawer of his desk.

Then it went to guns. Or, rather, weapons. Hyunjin knew where Felix's paranoia and desire for a weapon came from, but he wasn't sure he could trust him with it. Not when he had barely just started getting closer to him. If it were anyone else, any other person that was a part of a government job, he would have considered putting in a referral for Felix to have a gun.

However, Felix no longer went by Felix Kim (Hyunjin already agreed to get it situated so that Felix Lee was his legal name)- which would cause many, many problems for Hyunjin to have to rope himself around to get him a gun. Plus, he had no reason for a gun.

Not when he was tagging along with Hyunjin wherever he went. Were Hyunjin's agile and quick reflexes not enough for him?

"Come on, it'd only be for self defense. And I have a totally valid reason for wanting a weapon, too, and you know I do," Felix argued back easily, setting down the freshly folded paper crane on top of Hyunjin's folder.

Sucking in a deep breath, he closed his eyes and sighed as he hung his head slightly. "Felix, as much as I understand your situation and despite how much I empathize with you," Hyunjin muttered, "I am not going to get the FBI to give you a weapon. If you need one so badly-" he opened a drawer and reached into it, pulling out a pocket knife before closing the drawer with his foot. "-take the damn knife."

Hyunjin observed Felix as he rotated the knife in his hands, eventually flipping the blade out and scrunching his nose. "This is tiny."

"Size doesn't matter," Hyunjin responded, returning to the paperwork that he had to fill in.

There was a snort beside him, followed by deep laughter as Felix broke into a fit of giggles. "Size does too matter." His giggles raised in pitch, making the situation all the more immature, before he continued. "What's this gonna do? Poke someone's nipple out of place? This isn't about the motion of the ocean, bro, this is about penetration."

Hyunjin pressed his lips together tightly, trying to hold back a chuckle as he turned and looked at Felix. They were both adults- what was said shouldn't have been so funny. "You aren't funny."

Felix raised the closed pocket knife and pointed it in Hyunjin's direction, a harmless action, as his eyes wrinkled closed and he shook his head. "I'm hilarious, and you know that I am."
