third person POV

They all started scaling the ladders of the quidditch stands, much to Hannah's dismay as she begged Cedric to carry her up instead. After they both came to an agreement, the quartet ascended high up to the stands; Xavier busy trying to keep his books intact as he did so and droning to Arabella about her missed lessons trying to catch her up, Arabella allowing her intrigued snake to venture the stands with a warning to avoid the eyes of students all the while listening to Xavier's rambling and Cedric being pissed as he carried a certain blonde lazy first year up the ladders on his back.

After they climbed, Xavier sat next to Ara with a 'History of Magic' and a thick Potions textbook open still droning endlessly to an unamused Arabella about the importance of being up to date with the rest of the class and ranting about how he looks down on Hufflepuffs as incompetent and thinks of Ravenclaws as blabbering know-it-alls.

Whilst Cedric and Hannah now found a new dispute about which snack was better. They were supposed to be watching the twins practice- but were all caught up in their own affairs.

Xavier's POV

I noticed for the past five minutes that Arabella was lost in her own world, she just nodded and hummed in response to every question and note I asked her to take note of, and twirled her mysterious necklace around her finger as she stared blankly at the nearly empty, vast quidditch pitch. Only the Gryffindor team players could be seen warming up and the faint orders of Wood being heard from way up here, only muffled by the occasional flurries of wind.

'So you say you don't understand anything?' I asked, in attempt to catch her spacing out.

'Mhm.'

'Hah!'

She flinched and turned to me confused.

'What was the last thing I said to you?' I asked with a smug look on my face.

'You just asked, What was the last thing I said to you?' she replied, smiling innocently.

I groaned and facepalmed myself.

'Before that smart mouth,' I glared and she was about to make another smart comment when me heard a scream and saw Cedric attacking Hannah in tickles while holding an annoyed face but was holding back a grin.

'Ara-help-me-!' she screeched, and Arabella shrugged and retorted turning to face them, 'I'm listening to this boy right here teach me potion- um things,' she replied innocently but when she turned around she tried muffling her laughs with a sneeze which was hilarious.
