The repeated sound of a runny faucet echos through the blank space around and you sit next to Akira, leaning your head on her shoulder.

"You're annoying, y'know that?"

She laughs at your statement and leans her head on your own. "Oh c'mon, I'm not that bad. I'm millions of years old, give me a break."

It falls quiet and you look at the huge heart in front of you, sitting in the dark abyss you and Akira are in.

This is actually your heart, the one that was stabbed only five minutes ago. Both you and Akira are watching it get repaired by her spirit. It's not pumping just yet, which means you have a few more minutes inside of yourself before you return to your body.

"Is it weird not being able to die as a human?" She suddenly asks, sighing a bit.

You simply shrug and yawn. "I can die. You're just the only one who can kill me. Like you said, I cant kill myself, and no one can kill me. But you can... and you are killing me."

The demon sighs and suddenly grabs your hand, her fingers the same size as your own but claws at the end. "I may not have been telling you the whole true, my Y/N."

"W-what?"

She intertwines your fingers with her own and sadly smiles. "There is a way you can save yourself... and not in the way of killing love— although that does work." She explains, catching your attention and making you look to her.

"But I want to rule Earth, so I won't give it to you straight. But Y/N, think about it. I need your body as a shell."

You take in her words and try to analyze them, ultimately failing as you sit there, confused as hell. She sees your confusion and places her ice cold hand on your cheek, slightly petting your face and having you lean your head back on her shoulder, still having her claws on your cheek.

"Alright, that's all." She sighs, watching your large heart die down and shrink to its original size, finally finishing the healing process.

She then stands up and grabs it, walking back to you and crouching down. "Try not to die again. Not only do I want you to enjoy yourself for what time you have left, but it's a pain having to do this for you." She laughs.
