"Your place looks the same." Ji-eun said and scrutinize the place.
"It's only a year since you left." Lisa said with her blank expression, then she walked towards her huge glass window and look at the beautiful city in front of her. Ji-eun nods her head and walk towards the Thai. She hug her from behind and put her head on Lisa's shoulder.
"But you look different." Ji-eun said and smile. Lisa ignored her words and keep looking outside.
"Where's your luggage?" Lisa asked.
"I left it in the hotel where my manager is staying." She said that made Lisa look at her. "I will be here for only a couple of days and besides I might only be here at night. Are my clothes still in your wardrobe?" She asked and Lisa nodded.
"Good." Ji-eun moves away from her and walked towards the couch. "By the way where's your kitten?" She asked.
"She's not coming." Lisa said.
"Not coming? I thought she's living here with you." Ji-eun said disappointed. "Rosie probably borrowed her. Am I right? What's the breed of your cat?" Ji-eun asked that made Lisa furrowed her brows.
"Breed?"
"Yes, breed. Like Persian, British Shorthair or Maine Coon. What's the breed of your pet cat?" Ji-eun asked that made Lisa anxious.
"She looks like a kitten, but she is not a pet cat. She has a name. She is Jennie and Jennie is human not a goddamn kitten." Lisa irritated said. Ji-eun eyes widened. In the last five years it's the first time that she saw Lisa have this expression again.
'Ye-ji unnie is right. Lisa is changing.' Ji-eun said to her inner self.
"I-i'm sorry. I thought she was a cat because in Ye-ji unnies story- " Ji-eun said but Lisa immediately cuts her off.
"So the witch is the one who told you about Jennie." Lisa said with her blank expression.
"Stop that tantrum Lisa. It's me who assume that it's a real kitten. Don't be mad at Ye-ji unnie." Ji-eun said and stand up. She walked towards Lisa and hug her waist. "Let's forget about them. I know how to cool that head of yours. Let's invite Rosie and Sooyah, then we will order Japanese foods." She said and smile to the Thai.
"Fine." Lisa said and removed Ji-eun hands on her waist.
"Call them. I will just change my clothes." Ji-eun said and went upstairs.
A few minutes later.
"Lisa have you called them?" Ji-eun asked the Thai who is now busy looking outside her glass window.
"Yes." Lisa said, then she looks at the lady and her eyes widened. "Why are you wearing that?"
"What's wrong?" Ji-eun said. She is now wearing a pink pyjama that she randomly picked on Lisa's walk-in closet.
"Change your clothes." Lisa said with her blank expression.
"But it's very comfy. I like it." Ji-eun said and smile, but Lisa is still having her blank expression. She walked towards the lady and look at her straightly in the eyes.
"I said change your clothes. You know where your clothes are." She said with her stoic expression that made Ji-eun gulp.
"Fine." She sighed and went upstairs to change her clothes.
