Chapter 30 - The Storm

JENNIE

"Jennie." My eyes widened when I saw Lisa in front of me.

'Damn did Lisa heard it.'

I unconsciously grabbed her hand and dragged her away from Ms. Park's office.

"Where are you taking me Jennie?" Lisa calmly asked while we are walking. I suddenly stopped and look at her. Her face is still stoic but I noticed that there is a slight of dark circles under her eyes. Is she not sleeping well?

"T-to the cafeteria. I'm starving." I said nervously.

"But why are you dragging me with you?" She asked and look at my right hand that still holding her left hand. I immediately let go of her.

"Y-you told me that we should always eat together." I said without looking at her and start to walk again. She didn't say a word and start to walk beside me as well.

When we reached the cafeteria. We joined Rosé and Jisoo's in their table. Lisa sits beside me and I suddenly felt awkward.

"I thought you are hungry?" Lisa asked. I'm startled with her question.

"Y-yes, I-i'm hungry." I said nervously.

"Are you okay Jennie?" Jisoo asked with furrowed brows, and I immediately nodded my head.

"I-i'm fine." I'm stuttering. Damn my heart is beating so fast right now.

"I thought you will return that book to unnie." Rosé pointed her finger to the book that I'm holding in my left hand.

"I-i." Her question made me more nervous. I don't know what to say. I'm about changing the topic when Lisa suddenly speaks.

"Let's order Jennie." She said that made me feel relieved, then she called one of the servers here, and we ordered our foods.

While waiting, I noticed that Lisa kept looking at me. I'm trying my best to stay calm when Rosé's phone suddenly rings that startled me.

We are the lovesick girls! 🎵
[Rosé's ringtone]

"Oh my gosh!" I said and hold my chest.

"Are you really okay Jennie?" Jisoo asked worriedly.

"Y-yes. I-i'm fine. I'm just easily get startled." I said without looking at them, then after a few seconds I heard Rosé answer the call.

"Hello unnie." Rosé said while wiping her lips with a napkin.

"Yes she's with us." She said and look at Lisa who is sitting in front of her. "We are in the cafeteria........It's not a surprise anymore. She always come here with us. You should come here so you will believe it.......We'll wait for you. Bye unnie." Rosé ended the call.

The blonde is about eating again when Jisoo suddenly asked her. "Whose that?"

"Ji-eun unnie." Rosé said and eat again. That name sounds familiar.

"Is she coming?" Lisa asked expressionless. The blonde only nodded her head and Lisa didn't say a word after that.

A few minutes later, we are still waiting for our foods when I heard a familiar female voice.

"Rosie is right. The little Queen is really here." The female voice said.

"Ji-eun unnie!" Rosé excitedly said and waved her hand, while Jisoo smiles as well.

I look behind us to see the person that they are calling, and my eyes immediately widened. The famous IU is standing behind us. Am I dreaming? IU is Ella and I's favorite singer. We always listen and sings to her songs. Gosh! I'm starstruck. She is extremely beautiful in person.
