You found yourself in the same disgusting alleyway as before, your blood running cold once you saw the figure was not there as it once was. The body hadn't been moved, their helpless self just laying on the ground, blood oozing out of their open wounds.
You fidgeted with your clothes, trying to find your phone somewhere, but it wasn't there. Your hand made contact with your skin whenever you patted your pockets.
"I have to call the police," You thought, desperately trying to find the object. "Goddamnit, where is it?" You asked.
You looked around to find anyone that could be of help, but it was silent. The street was empty and there were no signs of people anywhere. Not a single person wandering on the pavement, not a single car zooming by the roads, no one. Everyone had completely vanished as if they knew this was happening.
You spotted a broken phone nearby the body, which you assumed was the victim's. You sighed, carefully walking and trying your best not to look at the terrorizing scene.
You picked up the phone, the screen was smashed but luckily it worked quite well. You turned it on and it immediately unlocked.
"Weird," You thought. Until something caught your eye. The wallpaper.
It was a picture of a dog whom you knew quite well. It was Hyunjin's, and no one had his dog as his wallpaper other than himself. You gasped, your eyes darting to the lifeless body in front of you. It was him, his face had been slashed to the point that he was almost unrecognizable, but you knew it had to be him.
His hand, dripping in blood, was still holding on to the necklace around his neck. That golden necklace was his mom's.
"Oh my fucking God, Hyunjin!" You gasped, choking on your own tears as you let the phone slip from your hands.
"Please, wake up." You begged, kneeling down as tears found their way to your eyes, rolling down your face uncontrollably. "Please"
You laid your two fingers on his neck, trying to find his heartbeat. It was silent. He was gone.
You woke up yet again, cold sweat dripping from your forehead. Another bad dream. You let out a shaky sigh, your hands making their way to your face as you buried yourself in your palms, letting warm tears fall all over again.
Since you had gotten involved with those dangerous people, you could never have peace, not even in your dreams. Your eyebags were starting to get worse than ever, and your thoughts were lazy and blurry. You sighed, knowing you couldn't do anything to help it.
You walked towards the kitchen, looking around through the cupboards in hopes to find something that could calm you down. You smiled, finding a few tea bags left, it was one of your favorites, and you knew it for sure could at least ease you a little.
You heated up a small cup of water, immediately dumping the tea bag and letting it rest. You grabbed the mug, warming up your hands in the process. You sat yourself down on the couch, pressing some buttons on the remote and turning on the news channel. You lightly blew on the hot liquid, trying to cool it off before you took a sip from it.
You paid attention to the TV, wondering if there were any updates on the current situation. However, there weren't any. You sighed, putting down the cup on the coffee table in front of you, trying to fall asleep to the sounds that played on the screen, until the doorbell rang.
"Who's knocking at this hour?" You mumbled, feeling strange out by the sudden call.
You carefully walked towards the door, peeking through the peephole only to find no one standing before it. You shrugged, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling that started creeping on you. You walked back to the couch, letting yourself fall and making yourself comfortable.
The doorbell rang again, sending shivers up your spine. You shook your head.
"Maybe it's some kid playing a prank... hopefully." You whispered, lowering the volume of the TV and closing your eyes.
Suddenly, you flinched, hearing the door slam open, or rather burst. Loud noises of wood breaking and rushed footsteps were all you heard before it went black.
"What the heck" You flinched, trying to squirm away but there was something firmly holding you down.
"Don't fucking move. Do as you're told and nothing will happen to you." You heard a deep and raspy voice say, shutting your mouth with his filthy hand.
You felt tears forming in your eyes, your screams getting stuck in your throat as you choked on your own tears. Incoherent noises left your mouth, not loud enough for people to hear, you couldn't find yourself forming words, let alone sentences. You were panicked, your breathing rushed as you felt as they carried you out of your apartment to whoever knows where.
You sobbed, still trying your best to run away, but strong arms were holding you in the air, making it impossible for you to move.
"Leave me alone, please." You begged, your voice barely over a whisper.
"Stay still and we'll think what we'll do to you later." You heard the raspy voice say, before you felt a smelly rag cover your nose, and that was when everything blacked away.
