Caspian's pov

I pull Adira to the car and help her get into the car before telling the driver to drive us to the Louvre museum. Once we arrive I take Adira's hand pulling her out of the car and close to my hip grabbing her waist.

"Remember what I said. If anyone looks at you weirdly or makes you feel uncomfortable tell me" I repeat lowly so only she can hear. "Yes Caspian I remember, you told me that like 20 minutes ago" she says annoyed.

"Okayy as long as you know." I kiss her cheek walking into the massive building. We give the people at the reception desk our tickets and take our time walking around the museum and admiring all the works of art.

After a couple hours of walking around we decide to go and sit at the River Seine and get something to eat. I call the driver and he comes in about 10 minutes so we get in and plug in some earbuds to listen to music together on the drive since it'll take about an hour and a half to get there.

Adira pulls out her phone to pick some music for us to listen to and why'd you only call me when you're high by Arctic monkeys plays and she starts lip syncing to the song causing me to smile.

"WHYY are you smiling? What are you planning, are you gonna kill me?" She asks jokingly. "No, well not yet, I don't know though sometimes you're really annoying. But right now you're just so cute" I tell her brushing my hand against her cheek.

She looks at me with an eyebrow raised, "Okayy teddybear" and goes back to lip syncing to her songs.

After alot more singing and smiling at her we finally arrive at the River Seine and I get out of the car tipping the driver. Walking around the car I'm about to open her door when the car speeds off with her in it.

I pull out the gun I have and begin shooting at the wheels trying to pop a tire while running after it. "Fuck, I should've know. The driver was too suspicious and I should've trusted my instinct" I mumble to myself still chasing after the car until I remember that I made Adira get Life360 just in case something like this happened.

I whip out my phone and watch her location as I get into cab pay the driver and tell him to get in the back cuz I'm driving. I speed though the streets not caring if I get hurt as long as I get to Adira I'll be fine.

I keep following the car she's in for a good 10 minutes before it pulls up to an abandoned warehouse grabbing Adira from the back as I aim to shoot the guy but miss. I was vulnerable and that risked Adira's safety ending in her getting kidnapped.

This place feels familiar almost like I've been here before but I can't put my finger on when or why, I just know that it's familiar. Running after them I kick down the door causing shouting to erupt from inside the building.

Pushing through I follow the man with Adira kicking one guy in the jaw and another in the groin while doing so. "Fuck" I mutter realizing that my gun is out of bullets. I crouch down pulling some ammunition from my pocket and reloading the gun and shooting at anyone in sight.

I pick up my pace running faster and finally reach the man with Adira punching his nose before pressing the trigger and shooting his left shoulder watching him bleed out before walking out with Adira in my arms.

"Sorry you got blood on your outfit" I tell her as we get into the car, my hand laying on her thigh. "It's better then dying" she giggles like nothing just happened, she's tough and I don't think this fazed her very much but it was still very worrying for me. If I had lost her I don't know what I'd do.
