Caspian's pov

I walk out of my old room to Alex's room taking a deep breath before knocking. "Occupied" Leo calls out making me sick to my stomach know what they were doing. "I'm her fucking brother" I state trying not to lose my cool. From the outside I hear them getting up from the bed seeing them with suprisingly neat hair and sigh before asking "Alex, Adira needs to use a hairbrush, can I have one?"

"Of course dear brother, I'll get that right away" I laugh as she limps in the direction of her bathroom. "I mean, good job I guess but that's still my little sister" Fist bumping with Leo I grimace.

In less than a minute Alex limps back over to us with a hairbrush in hand. "Thank you." Taking the brush I give them a tight-lipped smile and walk back to my room with Adira on the bed.

"Do you want me to brush your hair for you?" I ask holding out the brush. "You can, if you know how" she pops the medicine in her mouth and takes a swig of water to wash it down.

"Of course I know how to brush hair, give me more credit damn." I tell Adira pulling the brush through her soft brown hair. "You're so cute" I say smiling down at her.

I don't know what it is about her but she makes my chest tight and my heart and stomach flutter when I see her. It's going to hurt like hell when she leaves but I can tell how much she wants to do this and I can't stop her from her dreams.

"You're pretty cute too" she giggles her voice a little raspy. "fuck" I mutter biting my lip to stop myself from smiling. I don't think many people know but being a male and getting a genuine compliment makes butterflies in my stomach and blush appear on my face, it just makes it way better that I get to marry this girl.

"Be careful what you say darling. I won't hesitate to bend you over right now" smirking I finish brushing Adira's hair and sit on the bed beside her. Sitting here, right now, just me and her I feel like my heart is overflowing and I'm the luckiest alive until I remember that she's leaving in only a couple of weeks. Remembering that, I hug her tightly afraid that if I let go she'll just be gone.

After a while of just hugging her there I whisper against her hair "Promise me that you'll stay with me even when you're in school and that you won't always be too busy for me. Please promise me that Adira" my whisper sounds more like a beg but I'm desperate for her love, she's the only way I can feel emotions and without her I'm just a heartless mafia leader like all the others.

I know we've only really know eachother for a month but knowing that I'm not going to have her always by my side and here with me makes my insides quake and feel empty.

"I promise" she brings me out of my thoughts with her cute voice, I swear she could talk all day about the most random shit and I'd still be in love with her voice; it's like something that I'll never fully get used to since it'll always amaze me and I'm sure that right now if she asked me to kill someone I'd do it in a heart beat.

"Okay, thank you" I breathe out almost crying against her neck. "Caspian, do you know how much I love you, because it's alot" she replies kissing me softly.

*Knock knock knock* "Why the fuck they gotta interrupt us all the time" by the way the knock sounds, I can already tell that it's Leo and Alex. "Come in" I sigh calling out towards the door.

Sure enough it is Leo and Alex that come in sitting on the end of the bed with us. "What's up?" Alex asks after a little bit of silence. I respond quickly saying "Nothing really, we were just about to go back down to the party."
