Piper's POV
Piper we need to talk. Come outside.
I got that message from Jason at two in the morning. On a Wednesday night. Smiling, I threw on my coat and slippers, and headed out the door. No one in my family cared if I was out late.
Jason was waiting for my at my porch, looking quite serious.
"What happened?" I asked, slightly scared. Jason looked at me with the same amount of concern as I was feeling for him.
"Piper, we need to stop seeing each other."
My heart skipped a beat. "Why?" It came out loud.
Jason looked close to tears. "I just can't do this, Piper. You could get hurt."
Anger filled me. "I could get hurt? Don't you think this is hurting right now?"
"Piper I know but-"
"Don't, Jason. You took advantage of me. I thought you were more than a pretty face, but I was sure as hell wrong about you. To think I loved you." Tears were streaming down my face. I had loved him.
Jason's POV
She loved me. And I had to let her go.
"I'm sorry, Piper. Don't make this any harder than it is for me."
"Get off my property, Grace." Piper pointed to the fence in front of her huge house.
"W- what?"
"OFF!" Piper screamed. I had no choice. I ran, holding back tears, just like her.
She loved me. And I couldn't say it back.
