My own problems

Maia POV

I couldn't sleep the whole night. I get up and go to the bathroom seeing dark bags under my eyes from the lack of rest. I don't know what I am supposed to do now they know everything that has happened to me, but I know they won't let me go.

I exit the room only to find two security guards standing outside. What do they think I am going to do?

I am literally a tiny girl half the size of both those men so unless I get a gun I can't go anywhere. Though saying that I did kill a couple of their guards.

"Where are you going?" One of them growls. "To get food" I snort back, they don't need to know my movements the whole fucking time. I don't need a babysitter.

The two men follow me down the corridor which is really pissing me off. I go straight into the kitchen to get some food. I haven't eaten anything of substance in ages.

"Could you not stare at me the whole time, I'm just eating not murdering you" I say rolling my eyes, then mumble under my breath 'Jesus Christ' when they don't move. "Leave the poor girl alone for god's sake" a woman's voice speaks up for me.

I whip my head around to see the girl I saw that night with Carlos, his sister. "Thanks" I say softly before turning back to my food. Pulling up a chair beside me she says "it's alright, it's the least I can do given what has happened to you. I'm sorry for everything my brother did as well I know you didn't deserve it."

That's the best apology someone has given to me since this whole ordeal, and it wasn't even her fault actually I don't even know her name.

"What's your name?"
"Oh yeah I totally forgot to introduce myself, I'm Sienna Marchetti" she says smiling. She seems nice, definitely nicer than her brother.

Footsteps become louder in the room, so I turn around to see Aaron his hair messy from sleeping and his eyes look tired. I'm pissed at him for leaving me last night; he better have one hell of a good excuse.

"Where did you go last night, I needed you and you left. What the hell" I moan angrily. "I'm sorry and I didn't have a choice those two sexy bodyguards made me leave", seriously did he have to call the people keeping us captive sexy.

Actually, Carlos is good looking i have to admit that but I am not going to say that out loud especially after what he did to me.

"How much pain are you in?" Aaron questions worry filling his voice. "I look like shit I know, but I'm fine." 'Fine' probably isn't the the best word to use.

"Come on Maia, we both know that's bullshit" he argues. Okay he may be right. "There isn't anything we can do about it anyway so let's just eat" I finish leaving no room for objections.

He saunter over to the table taking a seat at my side. "Have you already replaced me with her" he jokes pointing at Sienna. "Yes obviously" I say sarcastically, "come sit with us."

This is the most normal thing I have done in a while just eating breakfast with friends. "I should tell you guys about Carlos when he was younger its very funny" Sienna suggest making conversation.

"Hey, why didn't I get invited to the breakfast gathering" Mario whines childishly, attempting to be funny but failing miserably whilst walking into the kitchen. "Sit" Sienna offers, I think they know each other well from the casualness.
